  • Revenge is the only word, 'that' does not stand in military terms, as a military action, therefore; when a military unit commits revenge, there 'is' no honor. Revenge is the only word you could put on this stupidity of killing old women, men and children. What honor is there in such an action? Therefore, rescind the Medals of Honor for the Wounded Knee Massacre (battle, in military terms).

Read the epic novel Rescue at Pine Ridge, 5 stars Amazon Int., the story of the revenge and redemption.

  • that is my great great grandfather. My name is Calvin Spotted Elk. Although I appreciate the intent of the song, people should be aware that Chief Bigfoot was not his name. It was a derogatory name given to him that unfortunately stuck with him through history.

My grandfather's name was Spotted Elk. We come from the Moni ihkala woju (sometimes pronounced Miniconjou) Planters by the Water. I never was able to thank him for his song honoring my grandfather.

  • @Taste4Truth Honor a quien honor merece

  • The 7th Cavalry was entrapped the day after the Wounded Knee Massacre. The 9th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers rescued the 7th Cavalry.

Read the novel, Rescue at Pine ridge, the story of the rescue of the famed 7th Cavalry by the Buffalo Soldiers, and visit website; rescue at pine ridge. com. The novel embodies Native Americans, Outlaws and Buffalo Soldiers, in the days of the Native American Wars with the approach USA. Story is about, brutality, compassion, reprisal, bravery, heroism and gallantry.

  • I wonder what all those men got?For slaughtering and murdering those poor dear people! When something happens where 3 or 400 or more people get killed, like in Bosnia,or The Twin Towers of New York or anywhere else on this planet, the whole world cries, and all World-Leaders are suddenly there?

What about THIS?What happened at Wounded Knee, and all other places,

against the Indian people?Where were all those world-leaders?

Great government the U.S. had back then, real heroes!Monsters! Demons!

  • @bibiJ63 The creator cried. The men who slaughtered these unarmed natives must surely be paying for eternity. There were many times when the troops disarmed the

indians then turned their guns on them. They were ignorant barbarians.

  • 20 Medals issued for this act "Wounded Knee" and we still have served in their army to fight their wars we like it or not are not Americans and could it be clearer I think not, I look at our Native Veterans as fools and shame on them for wearing the Squatters uniform or saluting that Colonial nasty lie that is America and her flag which is not fit for us to wipe our ass with.

  • We allow that dam cross over the graves of our dead, am I missing something or is that just a straight out mockery of us all ?: Also spare me the comments that our "Great Spirit or Grandfather" is one in the same as the nasty depraved Ethnic Cleanser god of the bible or his Public Relations ploy Jesus " His son the trojan Horse that wants us to except get people to embrace his sick sad dad through him !

  • One of the soldiers was shot collecting weapons & that was the breaking point. Since the lil big horn tensions rose & rose until that day when it exploded. Not similar at all to nazis/jews but it is similar to my lai where the troops kept triggering booby traps & getting killed by snipers. Tensions kept rising until they walked into my lai expecting vc, shots were fired & the troops opened up. No excuse 4 either.

  • Após o Massacre de Wounded Knee os soldados da 7a. Cavalaria, pasmem, foram medalhados! Quando vão caçar estas Medalhas de Sangue?

  • what the white man did to the native americans was as bad as what hitler did to the jewish nation.shame on the world for standing by

  • The 7th Cavalry got their butts in a sling again, fourteen years later, the day after the Wounded Knee Massacre. If it wasn't for the 9th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers, there would of been a second massacre of the 7th. Rescue at Pine Ridge. com.

  • blacks thought they had it bad

  • @gordojr328

    We did!!!

  • Imperialism, white supremacy, capitalism.

U.S. policy towards the Native Americans was genocide. It was a consciously racist plan to "clear" the land for European settlers.

  • NO THERE IS NOT SO WAT THO

  • Yeah, No one was killed at guantanomo bay you moron.

  • @1964HLX Theres a big difference, those at Wounded Knee didnt have a way of protecting themselves, those soldiers that killed them were nothing more than murders. All they wanted was to live a peaceful life, what they got was death for being different.

  • o-wha-che-towa my blood is still crying Johnny Cash.

  • this is a tribute to the Nixon administration. GW has Cheney, Rumsfield and so many others that were involved in this. Ben Stein was a speech writer for Nixon as well as Diane Sawyer. Remind these people "we know what you did that summer". Dont let them hide.... make them pay.

  • Questo fa ancora più onore a Johnny Cash, un grande.

  • I did not know he was so involved; I wish I had known it before.
