My friend of many years, Vernon Derrick wrote this song, first recorded by Jimmy Martin and band in the 1960s, of which Vernon was a member. Vernon passed away 1/4/08. RIP, my friend.
Glad to see one of his songs being played by Dan Tyminski and his great band.
