  • I was at this concert too, and I got serious chills throughout the entire 12 minutes of singing and speaking. He's such an inspiration. =)

My mom has diabetes, so when he looked SO confident about a cure, I broke down in happy tears.

  • wow, he is so inspiring! that's great that he inspired you! i hope that for his sake, for your mom's sake, and for everyone else in the world with diabetes that they find a cure :)

  • Thanks so much. =) I hope so as well. Nick's taking giant steps towards helping new generations rise up to find a cure. That's one of the things I love the most about these boys.

  • @08vintagelove my mom has diabetes too! 2 summers ago she almost died from it becuz of unawarness. she had gotten a stomach virus and she wasnt getting better so we took her to the hospitle and the doctors didnt no how to handle diabetes. her sugars were over 700 and she was in a coma. so this summer i took her to a JB concert and after it me and my friends started a group called Pump It Up. and we have foundraiser for diabetes and this year we raised $16,000 for change for the children :)
