  • and thats mathtastic:) thanks this helped a lot!

  • what if the b values negative ?!???!?!?

  • @byTundrah they square of it's value will still be positive... but when you factor the "perfect square" the value will be negative inside the parenthesis squared.

  • You explain this better than my teacher. Thanks for the help!

  • Thanks, my teacher takes Xanax but only sleeps 3 hours a night. I can actually concentrate on this, lol.

  • Thank you! So helpful!!

  • Thank you so much! This is helping me understand finals!!!!

  • i love your shirt! GO SPARTANS!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • my teacher is way better than u. but thanks for the review

  • @biruktayit Asshole

  • you teach way better than my algebra teacher

  • Thanks dude!! You got me extra credit on my test :D

  • Thanks for the review before my exam. I find it easier to just subtract the 25/4 from the right side instead of moving it over then moving it back.

  • Thank you so much! I have been very sick and I missed this lesson in class! You are a life saver! Keep teaching math! :)

  • good looking out bro

  • dudeee your the man

  • math is the source of all evil

  • why is it (x+5/2)^2 when its factored

  • Thank you sooo much!!!

  • Lolwhat? I was doing good until you said we could factor it after completing the square. ._.

  • My teacher is a bitch and wont help me (sigh), and tutorials in YouTube only cover the basics :(

  • This has been one of the best ( not to say the best) professors during my exchange year in Coopersville three years ago :) Matt

  • good review actually hahaha forgotten this crap :P

  • damn your such a help

  • Ahh thank you!

  • @blnmejia Agreed

  • Id never watch this compared to the super galactic sector 'C" group in the galaxy of cana bola.

  • You're a boss man.

You should definitely consider becoming a teacher if you aren't already :D

  • the world would be perfectly fine without this. thanks by the way man. way better than my clueless ass teacher.

  • Michigan state, impressive.

  • thanks for posting this!!! you explained everything very well :) i actually understand it

  • Michigan state! Niiice. Haha thanks for the help

  • O.o GEEEZUS!!! thanks i think i got it.

  • i hate my teacher shes a dumbass

  • Thnk you i subscribed...i didnt get how to do this

  • How did the -2 become -8/4????

  • @ipnutt22 it needed to have a common denominator. its the same number haha

  • @ipnutt22 theyre the same, its just easier to work with common dinominators.

  • "and that's mathtastic"

  • its cool to see like a young chap teachin this kinda stuff :P thanx for the help!

  • thaaaank youuuu!

  • thanks so much. youtube math vids = my hero

  • dude thank u so much. i totally forgot how to find the vertex and tomorrows my exam but so its the h and k on the vertex form. thanks dude! so i just gotta convert to vertex form and w.e the h and k is, is the vertex

  • have u tried the in-place method for vertex form.

  • And that's mathtastic! Hahaha made my day dude, and thanks I need to go over as much of this crap before my EOCT next week and Math 2 is hell for me

  • dude thank you. you have no idea how much you just saved my life here.

  • after looking at different ways to do this, this is the most complicated and longest way I've seen it done, but does work.....

  • The steps you take are different from the ones I've seen. I see what you did, but I couldn't tell you why if you asked.

  • you helped me do precalculus

    thanks meng

  • thnx for the help bro ... internet classes kill

  • Thanks this really helped!

  • wow ur really cute :) thanks for the help. where are u from? and where do u teach at?

  • ur cute and thanks for ur help!

  • Thanks Cutie for your help! u have saved my life!

  • It isn't (9/2)^2, it is (3/2)^2, which ends up being (9/4). The writing is small, so I apologize for that. But, when you factor that 3 out of the first 2 terms, the "new b value" is now 3.

  • i love you!!

  • great help for my advanced math class final TY

  • why do I have to go through sooo much bullshit, I mean, I don't want to be a mathematician so why do I have to learn this crap at school that I'll never use again in my life? Besides that, thx man, I finally understood this bulshit from your help.

  • I feel your pain ... on the other hand, are you going to be a poet? a historian? a writer? a doctor? a geologist? if not - then why learn anything? Learning math helps you learn other things faster and with greater depth. It really is a fascinating subject and I hope you grow to enjoy it :)

  • ~-Words of wisdom- ~

  • @dangarbo10 math is stupid... unless you realize it's responsible for practically everything in life... but why would that be worth learning? This generation sucks.

  • @Leeches93 why not learn math? your a human being you should know how the world works instead of letting ppl like scientists do all the work for you. dont be a passenger in life's plane...be the steward

  • example y=x2+10x-12

    y=(x2+10x......)-12......=

    y=(x2 half of 10 is 5 then 5mult 2 times (5)2=25

    fil the blanks

    y=(x2+10x+25)-12+25=

Y=(x+5)(x+5)13final anwser y=(x+5)2+13 vertex form the 2nd power

  • Cute guy...

    thx for the help ;)

  • True - however, how would we know that the x-value of the vertex is -b/2a without the quadratic formula? - and how would we know the quadratic formula without completing the square? Completing the square may be tedious, but it helps students with computation and comprehesion.

  • i still dont get it

  • Thanks.. now im not going to fail my math midterm

  • Can I borrow your brain ...just for one day ^_^

  • Is there a different way to do this? Could have sworn I learned it differently.

  • Thanks again !

  • Hi.Can you please make a video on how to find how many zeroes there are in a quadratic? please and thank you

  • THANKS SO MUCH

  • thanks! I understand now

  • Thank you dangarbo10, keep up the good work.

  • you are welcome! please let me know if I can help you out with anything else ...

  • I love you man! I forgot how to do this, I gunna ace the algebra 2 final ty

  • we gonna make dangarbo10 become the most popular youtube channel!!!

    Maths ftw!!
