The Quran is the Word of God-----my Muslim brothers and sisters---just leave these atheist to themselves and to the whisperer---my Muslim brothers and sisters listen to me! The Day is here---The Bab and Bahaullah brings hope and peace! LOVE TO ALL MUSLIMS AND JEWS FROM USA---long live Palistine, long live Isreael, long live USA and long live IRAN---long live ALL MANKIND!
The Quran also states that the world is still flat, and that sperm is produced between the pelvis and ribs. It says that thunder is caused by an angel with a whip, that birds fly because Allah holds them up, and that fruits have a gender. Much of what Muhammad wrote was already common knowledge, and more often than not, he was blatantly wrong! Sorry to burst your bubble, but false revelations = false prophet!
The desperate need of theistic, semitic religions for 'miracles' and 'proof' points absolutely to the inherent insecurity and doubts that believers have in their fictitious sky god and his monomaniac, murderous, psychopathic 'prophets'. Its all nonsense, and no matter how much 'proof' and 'miracles' you manufacture from your 'holy book', its still a ridiculous belief system that creates intolerance, hatred and oppression.
The Koran was written by a man who never demonstrated any miraculous abilities whatsoever. By all accounts he was a charismatic speaker and skilled community organizer who inscribed his beliefs and code of conduct in a single text that he himself wrote claiming it was inspired by a higher power. His beliefs were spread by the sword. You either converted or perished. One day his name and deeds will be forgotten. Every mountain turns to sand...every book to dust.
That statement in the Koran that the heavens are held up without any support is hardly a scientific revelation. If it's so scientific it wouldn't be saying the heavens are "held up" at all, since the statement makes no sense. Space isn't something that needs "holding up". Not putting down the spiritual messages of the Koran, but am saying this is no scientific understanding premature for its time in history.
There can be no such thing as scientific miracles. Miracles are caused by supernatural forces (Allah, God, Zeus, FSM). Science can only study phenomena that have natural causes by definition. The two are mutually exclusive.
Furthermore, "Allah sent down to humanity, the Q'uran." This is a blatant falsehood put in flowery language as a disguise. Men wrote the Q'uran.
YEs..we can prove that ours is better coz it is the truth. BUddah...was also a man who went in search of a GOD...can you sit and think which GOD did he find? Was he a GOD himself? NO...then why do people worship him, if he himself had no clue, where is GOD?There r many scientific facts too in Quran which cannot be denied.
Before long we will probably be told that the Quran also contains the theories of Special and General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, Organic Chemistry, Geology, Biochemistry (DNA; RNA etc. ), methods for battling all types of cancer and for advanced gene therapy
Not bad, considering it's so full of
nonsense, superstition, errors and misconceptions about nature.
and its only 1 book. it has there is not even 1 single word that had changed!!
and ofcouse it wont cure cancer
and it doesent have detailed information or explained theories but it happened in a lot of verses that some words were used in statements were they approve scientific theories that only those days were revealed
watch for example how quran approved Big Bang theory
Video: Quran and Science Cosmology User: MelodicVoices
and it was full of statements that wasnt fully understood!! and till now there are verses that nobody can figure out its meaning.. and within alot of verses there are alot of words and facts that nobody in that time could have described it that acurately.. for example how it discribed stages of human development
watch a video "Quran and Science - Embryology" from User: MelodicVoices
lol unfortunately you can't "prove" anything without details. Anything else is just plain leaps of faith. I could just as easily say that the ancient Egyptians belief in Ra (God of Sun) defeating Apophis (God of Night) every day predicted the Sun's balance between gravity trying to crush it and the light emanating from nuclear fusion. You see what I did there? I was looking for a pattern and I found it just like what you're doing with the Quaran.
Just did. I may not know more about embryology but I can tell you he made a false assumption on the people of that time. He said no one could have possibly known how to describe a somite even though they are 2.55 millimeters long (the size of a fly). If anyone had a miscarriage of an embryo that young, they would be able to see it and describe how it has "chewed up" features.
Every other claim is not that impossible to guess. Fruit grows by hanging, they could have assumed that. Not impressed.
our prophet was a normal man who was so social and busy (wasnt any scientist) and he had alot of work and was a leader of the muslim world he spent most of his days teaching muslims islam..
so a normal person wont think that he actually discovered the stage of embryo in (2.55mm) in the first weeks of pregnancy...
and for your information when a Size of a fly chew is in a menses of Miscarriaged woman (lets assume the woman knew that she is miscarriaging her baby) goes out with the blood... i dont think you would see especially when you are 1400 years ago where no microscopes no glasses were invented
u know what
ok.. lets assume you 1400yrs ago spoted that chew... =)
how you'll see the details.. grab a ruler... put 2.55mm and imagine the clot would you see those lines... =S
thats insane dude!!
second..
a person who would describe the ((((STAGES of development IN ORDER)))) and should have spent decades of his life experimenting and studing..... this is impossible to imagine that our prophet had time for that!!
you'll will not belive the simple life that arabs lived at that time..
btw the order of this stages was discussed more than 10 years ago and there was accusations that the quran was wrong and who comes first the bone or the muscles in development and NON-BELIEVERS all started to spread this thing, they really held this fact against us..
now scientist have changed their mind and the info was a the quran stated it... where are those people that accused Quran..
you can find a lot of proofs that the islam is right... the quran is the word of allah.. but you can never become a believer by only facts.. even if every one can swear to you that God is one.. you should realise it by yourself...
i personally find those miracles useful when you are already a believer.. just that they give you an inner peace within.. and a strong confidence that you are on the right path..
other than this i cant make anyone believe this even if Prof. Keith L.Moore came to you personally telling you this is RIGHT..
a non-believer would unintentionally try to defend himself and his thoughts bu opposing this...
cuz if you say this is right.. this means that i have to make a major change in my life...(e.g. change your religion) so even if you was convienced you'll try to forget it and move on... cuz you dont want the HARD truth
if you believe in god what ever was your religion just ask him to put you on the right path!! even if you stay christian or what ever it was
i am sure God will help you!! and direct you to the right path.. cuz as muslims we believe that there is part of christains are on right path (if they believe in 1 god.. and that jesus was a prophet like all prophets we know)
You can't assume that about me. I am not afraid to admit when I am wrong because I have before. I was raised Muslim and over my lifetime I have researched and studied what true science is, not guesswork by trying to see how the Quran fits into the science and saying "SEE! THEY KNEW IT FIRST!" Well if they did, why didn't they create technology from it.
The process of obtaining knowledge is not done through holy books but by studying/practicing on your own.
As for the alaqua being something that hangs, it is really a big leap of assertion to say it doesn't also mean a blood clot as someone else pointed out. It seems like the old preconceived notion that people used to believe that sperm met with menstrual blood.
Even if it did mean something which hangs, you wouldn't need microscopic technology to make that assumption. Just look around in nature. Fruit from trees hangs as it gets bigger, or even fertilized chicken eggs would reveal that.
I am not saying it was done in one man's life time. I am quite certain, like in all holy books, the stories and lessons are acquired knowledge over time. A lot of scientific knowledge comes from Arabs who were in the dessert and lead simple lives (Astronomy/Chemistry). Their ability to just observe the world around them is not that profound.
I believe you are really underestimating ability of a pair of human eyes. The best first discoveries were made in simple lives in nature.
maybe anyone that was that intrested in the first menses of a pregnant woman
and spent so much time studying them he would discover that..
look how much hippocrate changed in medicine although he lived 460 BC
but that wasnt the case of our prophet (SAU) he didnt have time..
and the quran was full of such sentences that when you read it.. you'll say that as if our prophet (SAU) knew all that theories all those facts... although nobody knew that
That's exactly what I meant. It didn't have to be only him. All holy books in modern major religions (including the Quran) have old stories and lessons rewritten into them. The overall acquired knowledge of people over many generations would have been enough. Even if it was never written down and only spoken orally from one person to another, you still would have people capable of knowing this 1400 years ago. I'm sure Prophet Muhammad met a lot of people in his life who could have told him that.
Furthermore, if you think it would be impossible to see then you are mistaken. It wouldn't take just one but possibly MANY miscarriages to realize this. Over a long period of time if anyone has their eyes open long enough they will realize the progressive formation of the fetus from its somite stage just by measuring the time. This woman was only 1 week after conception or 2 weeks after conception. It doesn't take a genius or a literate to piece together what points in time a fetus takes shape.
So this scientific claim aside, you think I should take the leap of blind faith that so many do just because everyone else thinks it is right? Why should I believe in one God? Why should I believe if your one God? What makes him so much more special? Just because you grew up hearing your ayas and surats and it makes you feel all warm and special inside, everyone else should do the same? What about believers in the Sun God Ra? this is how much the science and self development is appritiated in islam..
i meant you should learn about the religion.. it will prove itself.... no need for science proofs..
nothing is blind..
no one learns religion from just hearing the quran.. everyone should built up his faith through understanding religion...understand their god... why a certain matter is right why other is wrong
learn how it developed.. who is mohammad (SAU) and what characteristics he had?? why we all(muslims) love him..
i cant believe in buddah unless i read about it. then i either believe in it or not... (if it makes sense)
but make sure if you read about islam ask someone to point a good book or a good website on the net. because there are many many sites that can mislead you..

i studied embryology in the medical school before i read this verse!!
it shocked me.. how accurate is that.. stage by stage!!!
Prof. Keith L.Moore himself as a great scientist of embryology(we actually study his books) was stunned by it
he stated it many times in his books, videos... just search for it... and dont tell me you understand embryology better than him
