Thanks for your reply- yes, the RC hobby can get VERY expensive. Motors for these large and heavy models can run into the thousands. I applaud your eye for precision. Your explanations of the building process are very clear and straight forward.
I'm also a bog fan of the Learjet, -(ALL series!).
I do aviation art. So far I have United Airlines Lear 23 trainer and the Lear 60XR. Feel free to check out my sketches. They're extremely detailed and might serve as reference. Here's a link
I like the sophisticated expensive look of scheme #8. Congrats on keeping the proportions fairly exact. Note: The cockpit windows are very distinct on the 50-60 series. The outlines look a bit oversized; especially the small sidelights. Just an observation :)
Can't wait to see your project in flight. Btw: What type of paint do you use on Styrofoam? Water based? Most paints melt this natural.
Thanks for your comment and yes I use water base paint. well I really want to fly it but in the second attempt to fly one of the engines burn out : ( and I'm waiting till I can buy a pair of good quality motors
Excelente! porque no enseñas a hacer aviones rc en español? yo pensaba hacerlo por mi mismo pero tu tienes mas experiencia, seguro y aydarias mucho a la gente.
number 9. all the others are kinda boring, btw amazing job the plane looks awsome. how many hours would you say you have into this plane from drawings to flying? just wondering
Definitely #1 Red Bull. The earth magnets on the engine nacelles is a great idea. Also having your ESCs in the nacelle for max cooling is a great idea.
Daniel just another fine piece of work. As far as the color scheme goes I like #4 but #1 is also cool. Hope you get the esc soon so we can see this thing maiden soon. Hey check out my vid
