  • You have some really great ideas, Rob. I just wish you would make more conversation, like pop in more small stories or a few more jokes so u can utilize slicing time without the silence.

  • Its funny you and my dad cook the exact same things. (he doesnt even know how to use youtube so im prett sure he isnt following you) but any ways good video

  • Hey Rob, Melted cheese, isn't that 1 of the basic food groups? Have you tried smashed potato chips on top of tuna casserole? Don't crush or their too fine. It would probably work here on tuna melts too. Isn't this what we call getting your fiber, NO? O.K. To sneak in another veg without the kids noticing: I take a sweet potato cut it up exactly the same as for thick french fries. Spread on a cookie sheet, brushed with butter, sprinkle Kosher Salt ~Bake~

Sweet Fries without too much fat!

  • @EFT4MeDebi So many good ideas, I love them all, especially the fact that Melted cheese is a food group. You must be from Wisconsin ( maybe your ancestors.) :-)

  • Nice!

  • nice and easy ))

  • i haven't even started the video and my mouth is watering....yummmmmmmm!

  • your melts are similar to the Bruschetta that I make for my friends at college campus.

recipe: on top of a bread slice i put: meats (any kind), veggies (peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives), tomatoes (it's a must have), cheese, spices (basil and oregano are a must have; garlic- fresh or powder, paprika, Italian seasoning). broil them in the oven or microwave oven on grill function until the cheese on top is golden -brown!

    bon apetit!

  • @volnick1986 sounds awesome, I'll have to try it. thanks.

  • i wish my dad can cook like you :)

  • @lovingphelps Have him watch this video and then do it together. Ask for it for your birthday. :-)

  • No! It's best if you can use fresh crab meat, but in MN that is hard to find. If I lived in Maryland these would be so much better. See my Crab cakes video

  • o, is that how you say worstershishernevermnind sauce...

  • I say it like;

    Wus-tuh-shuh

  • did u say tula instead of tuna lol

  • i'll respond to all 3.

    1. Don't preheat the oven. Just use the broil setting. It should be 500º

    2. I'm sure I mis spoke many times. You could turn it into a game. :-) Tula, tuba, tuda, I probably said them all.

Let me know how it goes. take a pic and send it if you can!!

    rob B

  • should u preheat the oven and if so what tempurature

  • This look really easy and i have the ingredients i think im gonna make it tommorow when my parents arent home becuz im 12 lol

  • Excellent!

  • I REALLY think you should make an egg salad sandwich. I make mine with...

    2 boiled eggs (duh)

    1 table spoon of mayo

    salt

    pepper

    and(rarely) shredded cheddar.

Put it with 2 pieces of toast, with more mayo (luv my mayo) and turkey or ham, put the creamy, make sure its creamy, egg salad on the bread. YUMMY!

    -Ashley

P.S, I'm the only one in my family to eat this,(everyone else has bad taste in food)BUT IT IS GOOD!(BUT MESSY)

  • so glad I subscribed, I have to try all these recipies out!

  • Thanks Rob- I'll have to try it this Sunday!

  • Wow, those look amazing. and healthy too.

  • Those look great! I like to make tuna melts every now and then. I like to use either bagels (I use cheese slices to cover the holes) or english muffins and make a sandwich out of them. I also add relish to the mixture. Never thought to use onions or worcester sauce. I'll have to try it!

  • I agree. I'm not much of a pickle man so I tend to forget about relish. It would be good with the tuna especially. I love bagel melts. mmmm. I"m coming to your place. :-) RB

  • Great episode! Cant beat plain old cheese on toast. Also i pronounce worcestershire sauce 'wooster sauce', makes it easier. ★★★★★

  • Those look yum..the tuna one looks really good.

but you know i dont like onions so ya none of that lol

  • nice man

  • It's 3am... I'm now craving a crab melt! YUM is right! Off I go to raid the fridge... I'm going for the cheese. Great to see you!
