  • what did you do for this entitlement? why is healthcare expensive? why have the eldery not taken the advise they have given us and saved for their future? the only place I can agree is that if you have insurance, you should not be dropped. last the education system is paid off the backs of home owners, regardless of if you have children or not. think how much people could save if they didn't have to pay for schools (not that I am suggesting that). our system became broken along time ago. thanks

  • The elderly had to quit school and work from the age of 15 sometimes. They weren't out partying, having a good time and writing on the Internet. They worked their assses of! Nonetheless, my grandma used to say, "You can't save what you don't have." That doesn't mean they didn't work hard. But not everyone makes a 6 figure salary. Therefore, making it impossible to raise a family and save a lot money. I think you are misinformed with a lack of compassion.

  • Also, your generation got to make choices. You chose what to do for a living; you could out when you wanted; and saving your money was your choice. The elderly HAD to hand over their checks to their parents and families to support them. You were born in 60's and had every opportunity. They did not! They deserve the world because they sacrificed so that "you" could live as you pleased!

  • We are entitled to "affordable" healthcare. There are those who work hard but have to drop healthcare because they can't afford it. The elderly are also having trouble and they worked harder than any generation. When an old person has to make a decision between eating a decent meal or buying medicine - then we have a problem with our system. When someone is dropped by their ins. because they get cancer, that's insane. The public education system is free; yet we pay our teachers.

  • once again, thanks for watching my video. I do understand that not everyone can afford healthcare, yet I also understand that to say you are entitled to it implies that someone must give you it. who? will you give the doctors an order to provide their service? will it now be that they must give you the health care no matter the cost of even if they want to do it or not? that would be slavery! I am against forcing someone to give something (like a service they can provide) .

  • We are entitled to "affordable" healthcare. The public school system is a free service, run by the government, yet we pay our teachers. When an elderly person, who has worked their entire life, has to make a choice between eating a meal or buying their medication, that's a problem. We blame Obama, who has been in office for only 18 mths. How about Bush who was there for 8 yrs? Have to start caring for people. Our Founding Fathers did.

  • I don't understand when republicans say they don't want the government involved. Then what on Earth do we need a government for? I think you need to understand that "not everyone" can afford healthcare. We live in the USA and I think we are entitled to healthcare. You have it, obviously, or you wouldn't be against the new healthcare reform bill. It's always people "who are not" suffering, that are the most inconsiderate.

  • I am an honest person who thinks it's time for honest people to stand up and fix whats wrong and I always believe in Keep it simple.

  • 1900 pages scares you?

An ordinary paperback novel is around 400 pages.

His analysis and solutions are ridiculously simplistic and inadequate, none-the-less he seems to be an honest well meaning person.
