The thing about Maxwell was that all and all, he was not a great three point shooter. He was only 33 percent from beyond the arc. When he was on, he was good. But when he was off, he could be awful at times.
Mad Max would fit perfectly in todays NBA, where undersized chucker shooting guards play the point.... Anyway, Maxwell was awesome when he was "on", he was also a terriffic defender when focused.
MadMax was a crazy dude. He could either shoot you into a win (Game 3 IN 94 vs. Phx or Game 7 vs. NY in the Finals) or equally shoot you out of a series LA in '91 where he attempted more shots than even Hakeem,lol.
MAD MAX was MJ's worst nightmare

Idc how hot Mad Max was, if you let him light you up for 30 points in a quarter you're defense is terrible. Maxwell 51 points? Smh.

@PhilBurr100 I don't know, man, in my opinion, Maxwell was pretty unstoppable when he got hot.

Craig Ehlo is used to getting lit up for 50+ points but he never expected it from a non-allstar 2 guard. great game by MadMax

who's the "second" commentator??
VickTheQuick 8 months ago
@VickTheQuick Mike Newlin and Bill Worrell were the commentators.

@LamarMatic
Bill Worrell hated to commentate the Rocket games. Every time he opened his mouth, it was negative and absurd. He was a complete ass when he opined.
