mollypollysugar I have talked to him too and his talking voice is about half as low as the singing voice lol he is one of the best that I've heard as far as getting down low he is right there with Younce and Rielly and all the greats but comparing the two as mentioned before (Tim and Aaron) Tim was (and still is) a bit lower and clearer however Aaron is very young and if he kept singing his voice would mature and he would be just as great!!!
and about JD I agree he was very low yet fryed alot
Tim spoiled me. I can't listen to Gold City and not compare Arron to him. Arron is great in his own right but no-one hits the lower register better than Tim did, including JD and Sterban. Tim's voice was clear as a bell even when he was xtreemely low. Sterban frys too often for my tastes, JD was too muddled also. He'd get super low but loose the ability to sing clear. Sometimes he just went too low......
I have an audio clip from NQC 2003 of Aaron singing a very strong E1, during his first or second week with Palmetto State, when he was only 22. Don't ask for the clip...I've sent it to the user Jowox, and as far as I know, he'll be including it in his next bass vocals video. No telling WHAT Aaron can do now...he is 27 now, and has improved so much since his PSQ days and even since Revival.
Of course he can't sing as low as JD, but he actually can sing as low as Sterban and Younce. That's low enough as far as I'm concerned. He's low, clear and strong which is exactly what you want in a bass.
Totally agree w/ that as far as singing w/ Sterban and Younce...definitely good enough...and I'd really like to find out what Aaron can really do these days. I saw him with PSQ when he was much younger and was blown away...considering his young age. And sure, J.D. could go lower, but it wasn't much to listen to musically...J.D. never really sang...haha...he was just there to see how low he could go...great guy, great bass singer, nonetheless...
I agree about Jeremy!! I think he's amazingly smooth & fits the mold of the perfect rhythm style of bass that compliments Brian Free's vocals! Still, Aaron's my favorite!!
Love his C's!

Tim spoiled us all. I think as Aaron gets older, he will come into his voice and be as good and as clear as Tim.

Aaron might be smoother but he's not as low as JD Sumner or Richard Sterban.
No doubt. He is a great bass singer.
I think when he gets older, and when his voice matures, he will go OFF the piano.
I believe he hit's a low F but it's not as loud as his C's.
Other than that, Aaron's a great bass.

Very accurate IMO. Especially when you consider his age. Jeremy Lile is gaining some of my attention though...not as low, but very smooth.
