The United States has gotten so corrupt & evil that it allows police (people who failed high school and couldn't go to college) so they took a 2 year program in criminal justice to become law enforcement agents to go around and terrorize citizens. Here in Orlando, Florida a cop threw down, and broke the neck of an 82 year-old WWII Vet over a parking ticket, "82!". What happens when the US gets so bad lacking Civil Rights, that it becomes the worst goverment on earth?

I agree. The theory of this case was that the phone contained information that may provide the police with info about evidence which may be destroyed much like exigent circumstances. Other states do not allow

Two questions for you Kevin: 1) what about the 5th Amendment, which guarantees you the right to NOT testify against yourself; and 2) I always thought that the case law surrounding a "search incident to a lawful arrest" was predicated upon the need for police and fellow inmate safety (removal of weapons etc.), and how does a text message make a police officer, or fellow inmates safer?

This walks a very dangerous line over the 4th Amendment. Why 90 minutes? Why not 90 days? Why such an arbitrary number? You know something's unconstitutional when there's an arbitrary number attached to the legalese.
