Not only is this my favorite NFL Today theme but I like this original older classic version the best. The later ones are OK but I still like this one - thanks for uploading and sharing it. Really brings back memories of the NFL in it's real heyday

The last year this theme was used (1976-1980). To me this theme screams "disco era".

Well, considering it was only Ryan's rookie year and Mike Vick (their so called franchise qaurterback) had gone to jail. But even then, that prediction is very pessimistic.

Oh yes, I'm a huge fan of the team and have been so all of my life, too. Those early 1990s teams were a lot of fun to watch (they could have played better) but I liked Chris Miller, Andre Rison, Jessie Tuggle, Coach Glanville and everyone else.

I honestly thought the Falcons would win 6-9 games last year. They had (and have) quality players--just needed a QB, and I felt Ryan would be solid--no idea he would be so good so soon. The "2 wins or less" predictions were ridiculous.

I understand that 1980s Atlanta Falcons team was really special...of course today we have Matt Ryan and if--God-willing--he stays healthy, maybe we'll finally see have a Super Bowl champion in Atlanta.

my sister and her husband live in atlanta. i can remember back in the mid 80's when he had a bumper sticker on his truck that said, 'go braves and take the falcons with you.'
