To be fair to VH1, this is from the perspective of the American charts, which would make A-Ha a one-hit wonder. And they right up front say that outside of the US, they are far from a one-hit wonder, and are still a big act. But to the US, they vanished after that one amazing song.

No offense to you Tvstuff, but I just lost all respect for VH1. Putting A-ha in 1 place for one-hit-wonders is just pure stupidity. They have been huge in Europe almost since they started. After ''Take on Me'' they also became a phenomenon in Asia. They have a James Bond-theme!! That's how renouned they are! The vocalist Morten Harket has been praised by people such as Bono from U2 and many other famous artists. Critics have allways praised him for his voice, even if the record wasn't the best.
