IDK if it was just me, but when I first played this game and I met the merchant, he scared me, BECAUSE he opened his jacket/coat thingy and I thought (for some weird reason) he was going to flash Leon :O. Let's just say, after I learned the merchant wasn't, I was a very irrated, but happy camper! :)

ok - it's offical. Ive learnt more re4 stuff watching your walkthrough's then any one else's. - Damn that fireball thrower at the cannon gets me most times. (on pro) Ive been rifling him from the little tower next to cannon. Your way was sooo much quicker & easier. Cheers!

When fighting one/multiple zealots, do you prefer shooting their heads/knees?

Type of enemies doesn't matter, it's the head in 99% of the situations. Kicking them out of the way is just the best method to deal with them or simply pass them.

I see. You don't prefer getting lucky with doing 1-2 suplexes to take them out? Sometimes I think it's more efficient to kill them that way than knifing them while they're on the ground.

I don't like relying on luck. During a knife run, slashing the feet is more risky than slashing the head. Type 2 Plagas are no problem as long as I have enough space around me.

Wow, that was a looong time ago.

I never played it "blind", I already watched one or more walkthroughs here on YouTube out of curiosity and entertainment. So I kind of knew the storyline and stuff.

I don't think the first playthrough was anything special (ofc. I died several times as I didn't know the tricks I do now), besides being totally annoyed by the speed inputs in cutscenes. You couldn't just enjoy them, you had to wait anxiously to input the right buttons. >_>

Since I play on my TV when I record stuff, no. That was one requirement for me for recording. I would not have been able to play propperly if I had to rely on my PC-Screen with (sometimes tremendous) delay/lagg.

thanks. i know that the first beerstein you find in chapter 1-1 it hiden hehind a wardrob before you must run away form a big pile rock. but this beerstein you solded not for 3000k but much more.understand ?? the first beerstein is about 3000k but yours is more expensive :)

That's because I combined the Beerstein with its original three gems. Once you combine treasures (Masks with gemstones, Lamp with Novis-Eyes), their price rises.

If you watch the first few parts of my walkthrough, you will see where I got all items from. The Beerstein is hidden behind a closet in chapter 1-1, the jewels are hidden throughout your way to the castle (the last one being yellow, in a cavern before you have to fight Mendez).

I'm wondering, why is your knife hit hard? For normal, it takes 6 slashes to kill a cultist but on pro, 4 hits.

Well, in the NA version, the knife is weak. It received a power increase in all later versions if that's what you wonder about.

Well, it's not really needed. Every weapon is merely a tool to use in different situations. Every handgun is reliable and your main tool for kicks etc (plus has much ammo due to most current drops). The rifle is the n1 1-hit-kill-tool because of it's critical headshots. To be honest, these are the basic things you want to get past all chapters, everything else is luxury if you can't pass a specific part.

Spiralout1123211 made a video about this little glitch. It gives you some frames of invincibility when you stop rotating for a milisecond and continue right away.

I stick to it because he dies anyway. I could have even knifed him, but this is just too tiresome.

Besides, I rather save ammo for important weapons for when I really need them. The handgun is no such weapon.

They key is that you must not kill the first three zealots. If you do and take too long, others will spawn.

What? You mean tune up. Well, I will upgrade my Red9 to its exclusive, others don't really need to be maxed, as all I need them for is either knocking enemies down (from trucks or just get them out of the way) or for 1-hit-kills (headshots). There's no need in power ;-)

And one more thing my friend...you asked ashey to wait while doing your work (pulling the missile upwards). It was sufficient time for the villains to snatch ashey and take her away....why didn't it happen?

I guess because those you can see when you enter the are keep their guard on the second floor, thus not realizing Ashley is near. For those who spawn after you pass the stairs, they are simply too slow. After you blow up the gate, all zealots disappear.

While operating the missile (launcher) switch, why dont Leon get hurt when the villain swings the weapon (its at 2:31)?

That's a neat trick found by spiralout1123211 (as far as I know). It grants you invincibility when you let go of the crank and operate it immediately after.

This is so weird. When you get the Queen Cup the Cultist are trying to killed Ashley, but Salazar/Salador trying to capture Ashley. So WTF are they're doing?

i passed the pro mode, but that part when you run into the castle (8:08)and its the cut scene my game freezes! i dont know what to do!!! the disk is clean and i know its not my ps2 so wtf??? help?
