20 years ago today. I remember where I was. Gone, but not forgotten. Thanks for the memories Freddie. ...... Farrokh Bulsara. 5th September 1946 - 24th November 1991
Oh dear this is beautiful. I think your choice of song couldn't be better, I've always found myself thinking of Freddie while listening to yiruma, and now finding your video puts two and two together and brought a tear to my eye, thankyou
Freddie used to hide his identity he was ashamed of being indian / Parsi. I have many indian friends in Canada they all are ashamed of being Indian as well. What is it so bad about being Indian ?
on the news is said "farrokh bulsara has finally come home" and they said that the day he died. it really got to me. most pop and rock singers suck today with very few exceptions. freddie mercury was indeed an exception. but the thing i like about queen apart from the music is the fact tht it is very well balanced. like, there is always a guitar solo, often a drum solo, they all wrote the songs. they all took the fame! unlike the shitty stars today. thnx for this video :)
to green farhina.............. so what if he was gay???/ he was a human being just like the rest of us, and an extraordinaily talented one at that.. rip freddie xxxx
This song Moonlight is actually called Moonrise by Brian Crain. It was written in 1999 when Yiruma was only 11. Check it out on iTunes under Brian Crain album A Simple Life.

He was ashamed of his Indian heritage. There was never any Farokh, an Englishman named Freddie killed him.

The man was a total genius. People who mock him are just not intelligent enough to understand him.
