They told me to go to the scientology church to get auditing, which would cure the diasabling toxic drug injury that I suffer from. I knew that their claim made no more sense than psychiatry's claims which are disproven over and over again by scientific fact. I'm so glad Amy wasn't forced to take neuroleptics like I was. I voiced my concern (it's in my 1981 hospital records) about them harming my daughter since I wanted to continue nursing her. I was told that it was OK to take Haldol. Later I read the 1980 PDR which says that women should NOT nurse while taking this drug. I have been off neuroleptics for over 26 yrs, and have managed to function quite well without them. However I continue to suffer permanent damage from them. (See my channel.)

I have one relative and one friend, both women, who were put on zoloft and or paxil and then divorced their husbands a year later. One had just had a baby and the other had two toddlers. Nothing was wrong with them until they took the drugs.

All doctors prescribing SSRIs should be required to go through treatment before they are able to prescribe that crap. Zoloft has an insanely fast effect on the brain and your psychological status. I was only on it for 3 days and it felt like my soul was ripped out of my body, it took me 2 days to recover and it felt like I was hit by a truck when the lightbulb in my head turned back on. It felt euphoric to regain my soul in that manner. Zoloft is throwing gas on the fire if a person is suicidal.

Laws need to be made that forever protect people's freedom of access to natural foods and natural medicine and therapy. The mother's act it insanity to the Nth degree. Get out on the street, get into people's space, put out flyers, stickers, posters, if you have a car put some info on it - even graffiti in the right place - the end justifies the means in this case.

When I look at a problem I multiply it in my mind and it helps put it in perspective. For example, what if the whole of the US was on Zoloft - what kind of country would it be? Do you think they might be a bit difficult to deal with? So, to that degree on a smaller scale, you might have a "run in" with someone and you don't know they are on this drug - it might have tragic consequences. People should not be allowed to drive whilst on these drugs - they should ban them forever.

Ive noticed that families that are more than well off, that each member is on multiple prescriptions. I never really took it as anything, but it really is a joke. Our bodies arent random chemicals and they dont need random chemicals. The way they "treat" cancer with pills you have to handle with gloves on is discusting and wrong.

When you say you hallucinated throwing your baby down the staircase, did you actually think you had done it? I think there is a difference between "hallucinating" and "envisioning" things. A lot of people say they hallucinate when they are actually only picturing things in there heads, which we all do at one time or another. Only, these  kind of dream visions stem from fear and make us even more frightened of ourselves. I also wonder if you suffered from sleep dep like I did. That'll do it.

I knew I had not actually killed my baby. I only had one hallucination. That was after three days of Zoloft + sleep deprivation for 9 days. The hallucination was a visual image of a ghost of me standing on the stairs and throwing the baby down. It was not an envisioning imaginary thought, it was a visual hallucination - I actually saw it. Even though I was still sleep deprived I didn't have more hallucinations the next day. I had other bizarre effects. Getting more sleep probably helped me but..

After I went to the hospital & got out, they raised my dose, I had more disturbing images in my head - not visual hallucinations, but constant thoughts of killing my baby. This got worse with each dose increase. 9 days of sleep deprivation sucks but it does not account for 4 months of being homicidal. Knowing about REM sleep behavior disorder I feel fortunate that I took the precautions I did take of having my husband sleep with his arm around me and my son in the room downstairs with my mom.

I went to a doctor 5 years ago and they had me fill out a questionnaire. It asked questions like "do you ever have trouble sleeping?" and "are you ever depressed?"

When I answered "sometimes" to both of these, the doctor immediately said "Paxil is good for that!!!" Thus, I started my first run with SSRIs.

Needless to say 4 years later after going through a living hell I'm SSRI fee. I have been for now for 3 years.

I couldn't have said it better myself Michael Ellner. I fired three doctors before having my baby all-naturally with a midwife and dula in a birthing center. Do whatever you have to do to stay out of the system! Seek medical help, if needed, from naturopaths, homeopaths, etc. and even then do your homework. Doctors use to have a good reputation until we started having 3 party providers and the government making medical decisions for us. When I became a raw foodist & cured my diabetes, I realized that my good health is my responsibility. Psychiatrist David Healy looked into the drug Prozac. He had access to published data and internal documents. No suprise about this. For me it was because of an injury when nobody expected me to live five minutes. After seven weeks coma I am back to excellent health. Had I not stopped the drugs given to me and refused another one, I would be as disabed as I was reported to be.

Having worked in 20 countries, I am well aware that medical procedures in the United States is among the worst in the world!

WOW! This is insanity! Thanx for sharing this story. My OBGYN gave me a pill after I gave birth and he didn't even tell me what it was, just that it was a calmant. I thanked him and the next day said that I felt better. In fact, I never even took it because I had no need for a calmant. Why the hell did he give it to me? So strange. But, imagine if I had outright refused it, or WORSE, if I had taken it!
