link wray - rumble, yea this song is from the 50's and was banned cause folks said it would "incite gang violence" and it had no lyrics haha and love the game by the way, had a nice southern feel to it, tychus is the koolest guy in the game, haha "well its about time" haha, live happy folks
sitting in the bar, listening to this song, drinking your whiskey (on the rocks please) and staring at Kerrigan's beautiful photo. now that's "being Jim Raynor" exactly..
"What now? I'm gonna call up a group of hard-hittin', high explosive Marauders to work on these Stalkers with some grenade launchers and a flamethrower. You hear me, Protoss? I'm gonna get medieval on their asses.
I'm with Orkyt - I love just hanging out in there after a mind numbing hour long battle with the zerg. Makes me want to drink whiskey. I wish someone would make a soundtrack to this game with the Jukebox tunes. I really love this music.
ok that creeped me out, i was watching death proof, the dance scene bit with the jukebox and had an erge to listen to this song. is this song played in death proof?
to those in confusion, you are recognising a cover of the song Rumble by Link Wray. It has been in several things, such as Blow, Pulp Fiction, The Sopranos, and Independence Day.
The closest MP3 version I've been able to find is from a band called Link Wray and His Ray Men. The song is called Rumble '65 on their Deuces Wild album. Hope that helps!
The song you hear in the game is a stripped cover version played by Mike Campbell. The Original is called Shoot out the lights by Richard Thompson, who was in a band called Fairport convention, who was also voted by Gibson as the greatest guitar player 1991.
That is incorrect. Rumble is a different song from the late 50's - the only instrumental banned from the radio per wiki. Shoot Out the Lights is a different (and great) song.
This track just screams *Tychus' voice* "Rrrraaaw Sex Appeal..."

Because so-called Rednecks are true heart of America. They build a real culture, in oppose to rotten north, where only money matters.
