HI where did u get the green algae from your sump? I can buy green circle algae from a reef pet store right? Is it ok If I can put green circle algae in my biowheel 200 filter right should that be fine?

Yes.... the macro algae is a great nutrient up take source, and keep's the nitrates & phosphates vary low.

I am running a 350 gph little giant, it probably returns 275 with the head pressure. the back 3 chambers are stock just running empty.

because i had salt fish tanks before but fish only i had 3 lion fish but sold them online for like 2,500 all of them. so now i have this biocube and am going to make it a reef tank.

so i deffinetly recommend getting a sump but you have to make sure you get good enough lighting or you won't see alot of results also i read it's best running it at night i can't remember why something about gas exchange or something but also electricity is cheaper at night (off peak times)

VAVOOMSKILL have you considered upgrading your light? it really benifited my refugium

P.S. your tank looks fucking ace. mines shit, i've got a vid but it's really bad quality and before i upgraded the light

Yah, I run my fuge light at night. and my macro grows enough to through a hand full in the trash once a week and trates are at 0,, so I say if it isn't broke don't fix it. hahaha ;)

i've had a 6g sump and 5g refugium on my 12g nano cube for about a year but had always had nitrate issues, i never had them bellow 30 mg/l and were usally alot higher than that, well resently i upgraded my refugium lighting from 20 watts of this crappy lighting to 50 watts of t5 lighting and within a week there down to 0 mg/l and my nanos pretty stocked too, damsel, watchman goby, clown fish, 2 large types of Pseudochromis, anemone crab, snails hermits, lots of different types of soft corals.
