  • Good review, you should review on the HAZARD 4 PLAN B. And a compair to the HAZARD ROCKET and THE PLAN B, by the way how much weight can that bag hold?

  • so is a better back than say the sitka or Kodiak ?

  • @12sick4x4 Did you mean "pack",,,? They're so different for different uses. The EVAC won't carry books and laptops and binders as well as a Sitka or Kodiak but could serve a good purpose for tactical or even a photographer's gear.

  • @RoscoeBa - so the kodiak is better for commuting into the city? thanks for all you do

  • @ManFromMassachusetts Thx so much! You know, I've not ever seen a Kodiak in person so I can't really say. I think I always just thought that the Kodiak would be too large for me so I've not pursued it. Lots and lots of guys swear by the Kodiak. Hope this helps... :)

  • great pack! Hazard 4 makes great stuff. I went with the Plan-b b/c I prefer to not have permanent side pouches. I like to have a stripped down pack so I can add MOLLE attachments where I want them. I added a water bottle holder to one side and the other side I put mu IFAK. ON the front strap I have a MaxPedition mini organizer with of course and an "Infidel" patch.

    Great review! Infidel Strong!

  • Now all you need to review is the HAZARD 4 PLAN B, as well as do the compair the rock and plan b.

  • The tube shape go bags always slide up & hit you in the back of the head when leaning over-does this sling style bag stay in place when moving around in it or bounce everywhere like the others? Great vid!

  • this is a great review but i dont understand how it can switch i didnt see a large clip on the right side to accomadate the main strap when you switch sides

  • @Otaku422 Thx, Otaku. You can switch carry sides by switching the straps on the bottom. The main strap and the support strap both attach on the bottom via slip buckles (don't know what they're called). See 1:00, you can see how the top of the support strap will be detached via clip and reattached to the other side of the main strap. Then detach both bottoms and swap sides. One can't do this swap on the fly but will take about a minute to make the switch.

  • @RoscoeBa thx for the info ive been looking for a sling pack that was left handed and the ones i keep finding that are ambi are to small i am definately gonna keep this in mind when i buy my bag

  • when you mentioned plan b, the bee was like "that's my cue!"

  • Damm Roz, a friend of mine at work showed me this pack and I thought I'd check it out. I clicked on the youtube video at L.A. Police gear and as soon as I heard your voice I knew it was you! Good Review, I really did not go into detail with my friend because I just flooded our office with Maxpetition packs, but after seeing your review it sort of changed my mind. Anyway, I am going to start doing some bag reviews soon....Happy Easter, take care.

  • @lawson863 Awesome! Now, if you do your reviews, and don't show your "face", some folks may incessantly ask to see it.... lol I just subbed your channel. Looking forward to your vids! :-) -Roz

  • Great video. Looks like you had a great time..

  • Hey Roz! Hope all is well with you. I've been eyeing this pack for a long time, but I just don't have the money LOL.

  • i wonder if i could fit my keltec su16c in there.

  • One thing that bothers me about this. It appears that the MOLLE is not sewn into the seams, but rather just onto the bag like a patch or something.

  • @worshipthesock Indeed, you're very astute. I checked it out and the molle is sewn into the fabric vs. the seams.

  • You know I was about to buy a S.O Tech go bag but umm yeah damn that hazard 4 bag looks good damn. Thanks for making that video, and keep up the good work.

  • @grimkampfer Thx very much, GK!

  • @VideoScenario Not as nice as a Chrome Hipbone.... lol ;-)

  • i have this bag. it is great if you don't get it to to heavy. with the wrap around clip it is supper secure and i looks crazy awsome on as well

  • @heslipscott Thx for that input, Scott! First hand account. Thx!

  • Great review, as usual. That is one unique bag. I would totally rock a one strap bag, but that strap looks super wide--almost too wide for comfort it seems.

  • @TheGadgetNut Yah, quite wide. I dig the one strap gearslingers, for some reason. Guess I like the cross chest carry...? Thx for the props!

  • Great review!!!! That bag looks awesome! Too bad one strappers and I don't agree! Oh well! Thanks for that!

  • @katabunga So sorry Kat. I see you are even giving away your Sitka!!

  • Really nice bag, I want one. LOL

  • @awomansworld123 It would suit you on your motorcycle, yes? What pack do you carry when you ride, Lynn?

  • @RoscoeBa I use a regular backpack for now while riding on my motorcycles. But this one looks so much more efficient and roomy. I love the review. Thanks for sharing.

  • Now I have to love and hate your videos.. Every time I get a new bag and think it's great. You have to go and find yet another great bag! lol

This will very likely go on my next shopping list of gear.

  • @CaptainObvious1972 haha Thx, Capt'n!

  • @bscalzo130 You're very welcome, 'Calzo. i like how you pointed out the "feel" of stuff. Indeed, when we look at stuff online that is definitely a sense we can't get. I'll see if I can make a point in more vids to convey that aspect. This Cordura that Hazard4 uses definitely jumps out as unique.

  • @RoscoeBa Does the GP pouch fits a Guyot design original bottle and still have some extra room?

  • @Roboflux I don't have one to try but what is the diameter and height? I'll check for you. Those are really nice products, Guyot. I'm in the market for a new water bottle...

  • @RoscoeBa You are awesome, thanks and here are the_

    Dimensions: 8” H x 3.5” Diameter

  • @RoscoeBa

The larger Guyots use the same dimensions as a 1L Nalgene- 3.5" dia, 9" tall, roughly.

I've heard mixed reports on the stitching- is it double stitched?

  • @RoscoeBa You are awesome, thanks and here are the_

    Dimensions: 8” H x 3.5” Diameter

  • @Roboflux yes Guyot bottle will fit .

  • Been waiting for a while for a review of this bag, Wow! Great review, you are my reference concerning bag and maxpedition stuff! Thanks Roscoeba!

  • @cadrician Cool channel, Daniel! Hey everybody, check out Cadrician's channel. He is the master of Playlists. Its like a Tactipedia. :-) Glad I could show the pack to you. There weren't any other views of it so I'm happy to have been able to show it.

  • I want this as a camera bag, but can you get like 2 more dividers?

  • @WAFFLES081 That's a great suggestion. I know Hazard4 has an acct here as CivilianLab so maybe they'll see it. It makes sense to need more than one, if it's for camera gear, and likely would not cost alot to produce and offer...

  • what was in the pack when the model was wearing it

  • @TheSerb111 It was totally empty. I brought it over there last week and his wife was zipping and unzipping it analyzing the whole thing inside out. She loved it and was the one that noticed that the port enters both the main and the rear compartments. (...that's how I remember it was empty.) ;-)

  • @DangerousDude2010 Excellent question. Would it be squishy if I said they both have strengths by way of "better"? MP has a huge line of products versus Hazard4's early line of a few items. I really like the softer Cordura of this pack and the Tonto but I also like the variety of MaxPed's. lol I vey much like the offerings of both. btw, glad to Liberty is back on her feet! Good papa!

  • @RoscoeBa Yes, it's squishy! :o) If you only could choose one, which would you chose and why?

  • @softairguy65 Yeah, it wears black very well. Thx, Darian.

  • Roz, as far as I am concerned, this video reaffirms one thing -- you are the best there is at doing gear bag reviews, PERIOD. I've never seen anyone else break things down as completely and as well as you do. Please keep up the good work.

  • @MrJimbofox Wow Jimbo, a most awesome compliment. Thx so much. You made my day!

  • @RoscoeBa Just keepin it real. My pleasure.

  • Great review, Roz! Thanks.

  • @wpherigo1 Very awesome! Thx, WP. Much appreciated.

  • Hazard 4 is new to me but you sold me on this bag. I've been looking for a new pack for my earthquake evac bag. This should do nicely.

  • @CaptainFur Thx, Capt'n. It's sleek and wears well. Damn, glad I don't have to worry about earthquakes! :-o Good luck!

  • @RoscoeBa You get use to them. Ever see ID4 when Will Smith is in bed & thinks they're having a quake? It's like that, if it's not even 3.5 or more, you don't even get out of bed.

  • @CaptainFur haha You guys are hard core! :-)

  • Thanks for posting this. I'd never heard of Hazard 4 before this video. Very informative and thorough, giving us the info that's important without the extra BS.

  • @TheDupleD Thx DD! I first saw Hazard4 on MilSpecMonkey's coverage of ShotShow 2010. Cool company and cool products.
