Please, disregard question about a tuner with violin sound. I saw you using a regular A note buzz tuner. I found an iPhone violin tuner app with violin sound called n-tune: Violin-Free by Cocoada under "violin tuners free" at the Apple store. What an amazing work you are doing. Thank you.
my teacher tells me not to move the bow all the way and i suck but this ladyy helped me alot when i nwent back to school my teacher told me how i learn how to play it real good thnx young ladyy
I have been looking for a teacher for a long time. I stumbled across your website and was immediately hooked. The first video of yours I watched taught me more of what it means to play a violin, and play well. I have taken lessons before but didn't think I was learning anything. I was learning to play the basic songs but never learned the importance of the basics techniques of how to hold the violin.
Uhmm , I can play sad romance by thao xanh nguyen , but somehow I get nervous whenever I play something . Do you have any advice for people like me who can get songs by the ear , because everytime i listen to something nice , i get it fast on the violin without looking at notes . But I'm still not really that good and I'm having a hard time . So do you have any advice . I can't do vibratos too . Cause I don't understand which part of the arm or hand to move .
I am a highschool symphonic player, and i have watched many of your vid. and i knew most of the basics, but this smiply helps re-define any missed points from teachers at school,so thank you for these high quality videos! :D
Hey, thanks a lot for this video, you are an amazing teacher, I have a little question, do you recomend me to use tapes to mark notes, since I´m just beginning, it is very hard for me to find notes, so i get lost :) thank you

Thank you so very much for taking the time to explain and tech us this wonderful and helpful techniques. I have my daughter watch these videos and she has improved a lot. 5/5

i find myself wanting to stay in the middle , cause im lazy . Ecspecially when im just preacticing or doing some little show at a family get together . But , im wanting to push myself to srtive for that extra 1O% now !
@Gaara7177 Absolutely. Viola techniques is 95% the same as violin technique. More than violinists, violists have to rely on the use of a healthy amount of steady bow weight since the strings are thicker and require good sticky contact to make them vibrate well.
