Candice had a baby back in the spring. And Maria got released for daring to have a life outside of WWE.

The huge sendoff Trish got and going out as champion was Vince's idea. He was always positioning Trish as " the greatest woman in WWE history". But if Trish really wanted to, she could have said no to it all. Vince was prepared to have Mick Foley win the main event of WM 16 and let him go out as champ, but he declined the offer.
