I`ve made a couple of videos of my amp u can hear the buzzing on the second video . :) I`d like to hear some suggestions . I think I did not use the correct type of wire for the audio cables . Or the transformer is to close to the integrated circuit . I`m using 2 enormous capacitors i don`t realy remember the farad reading on them , all that I know is when I accidentali touched with the screw driver the positive and negative ends the screw driver melted and the bolts ... so i think they are ok .
Hello nice job the amp is extremely good looking and poverful. I see u`r using TDA7294 , on what voltage are you using it ? I`m building right now an amplifer which has 4 TDA7294 , and in my documentation it seas that it has 2x250W , but on 40V and (max) 10A . But I am using it on 30V adn like 5 A ... . I have a question mine has a Stand-By function I have to give it 5V to get it auto of stand by ... but I don`t know if it needs it permanently or not ? And i have a terrible buzzing sound ...
@Manekinen relax yourself there blowjob im srry i read it to quick and yes i still think its big..theres amps out there that are single space that, that's 1/4 of the size and it puts out 8500 watts
@Chris25toepher Class AB amplifiers are larger due to the lower efficiency, which requires a bigger transformer, capacitors, and heat sinks. Especially the heat sinks in a passively (fanless) cooled amplifier, they need to be considerably larger.
I built an amp that is about the same size as this and puts out 400Wx2 but it is class D, which can pack a lot more punch in a much smaller package :)
Very good job:) Nice looking. ,I am going to do a n all tranzisor amp, copy of TESLA´S AZK210 amp, becaouse i have trafo with wery high output voltage +-45V so it blows every IC than I try:D I hope that tranzistor amp will be work correctly and don´t blow

AMPLIFIER IS NOT OVERDRIVEN, but microphone in camera clipping. Try to record something like that at 1m distance!
