  • @vonnebula10 if the tech armor can protect against metal bullets, I'm pretty sure it can protect against a wooden arrow

  • Just looked at the ME3 multiplayer calsses.

    Totally being a Krogan Sentinel

  • Sentinel + Insanity = Game Passed 100%

  • Qıick Question can the tech armor protect the wearer from an arrow to the knee?

  • I've been playing a soldier since my first playthrough of ME1 and I always just go for the vanilla soldier/warrior class in most games.

For my Insanity run in ME2 i tried Sentinel for something new and it's way more fun.

  • do you still obtain a sniper rifle as this class? Debating between Sentinel, Soldier or Infiltrator for mass effect 3... no es facil... Gracias!!

  • @Juancitodinho995 later in the game yes

  • Laughing at Knife Party for WWII era airplane movie. I love them but really?

  • SENTINEL FTW!!!!!!!!!

  • I just love the Sentinel class...

  • Comment removed

  • Hard to play

  • @MrRoboeagles Really I played Mass Effect on insanity as a sentinel going on my second time. they are really hella fun and easy. On default setting you have to almost try to get killed... since you won't at all. lol

  • I just play as a soldier it is really to play as a soldier on insanity

  • why does shepard does not have any armour bar even when he is wearing it ? he doo have the shield and health......cos enemies have health and armour and barrier or shield....but shepard dont have any armour!!!!

  • Adept and wide singularitay all the way

  • I should have played this guy first. Even though the other characters are stronger, it always bothered me not being able to take out every npc so easily.

  • as much as i like being a vanguard, the sentinel is still my favorite class. and i'd have to imagine being a sentinel with the geth plasma shotgun is brutal. although being a vanguard with the geth shotgun as well as the semi-auto downloadable assault rifle was brutal. adept is gay. i hate that damn class.

  • @TeddySalamander I played vanguard in the second playthrough of ME1+ME2 (first was infiltrator which is weaker than vanguard). Totally agree - geth shotgun and DLC rifle combined with powerful biotics were brutal. In ME1 vanguard was also incredibly strong - lift could be used even on undamaged Saren/Sovereign so you was able to fire several shotgun rounds + Carnage to a levitating, defenseless target. Recently I started as sentinel. I think it will be much fun.

  • did anyone notice he had thane and mordin on garrus's loyalty mission

  • @vadeywadey yeah so what?

  • @vadeywadey you playing mass effect 2 for the first time aren't you ?

  • can you get a blue tech armor

  • Sentinel or Engineer ?

  • ... Sentinal reminds me of the soldier from mass effect 1. A COMPLETE BADASS. Going with Sentinal, for sure.

  • sentinel: also known for playing normal difficulty on hardcore mode D:

  • Sentinels are the best class, bar none.

  • You have to really suck to die as a sentinel.

  • @xmeat so what if i defeated me2 using soldier class on insanity.. does that make me a beast?

  • @Executioneer2126 Not really because soldier is the second easiest class after sentinel, atleast it was to me.

  • @xmeat i played me2 over like 25 times all classes i did best with soldier class

  • @xmeat i once died...insanity/object rho....but it didnt count as death XD

  • Sentinels are the best♥

  • @Jokenx3 amen.

  • @DontEatVodka You're the one who seems offended. It'll be ok, PMS doesn't last forever.

  • @DontEatVodka Umadbro?

  • sentinel + warp ammo + overload = defensive and offensive beast

  • hey so if ur a sentinel do u basically get 2 layers of shields?

  • @Pain0rDeath No i get only one layer, but the tech armour has a balst radius that knoacks all enimes without shields and aromour to the ground

  • Best class in my opinion, the Tech Armor is extremely useful when playing on Insanity mode.

  • @Sarrop39 It is indeed, but i found even more useful the engineer...the ability to pull back enemies with drones is really usefull, as taken barriers with overload. Actually it´s the class i choose to end the game on insanity and is going well.

  • I hate to be the bearer of bad new, but if you've been playing anything other than the sentinel you wasting your time, The tech armor is just Sooo powerful, it have save my ass so many time and plus if used right you can use it offensively.

  • @Amunnakht Its so fun just runing around and when you lose your shield you just use the tech armor and your back on your feet

  • @problemofficer AGREED!!!

  • @Amunnakht too bad its taking the cheap and easy way in fights. sentinel=for noobs scared to die who need extra protection, vanguard=pros who arent afraid to get up close even if they know they have a shitty shield but take and give damage like a glass cannon. id like to see you take a vanguard through insanity without importing. youll be crying

  • @IXxBossxXI Man is you crazy ? how is that cheap ? first off the sentinel have to get up close and personal as well for the tech blast, same as the vanguard with it charge. Every class have strength and weakness...dont hate on the Sentinel

...just like the guy in the video the Sentinel is the "Jack OF ALL trades"..able to handle MOST situation..dont blame the Sen for van's lacking..lol

  • @Amunnakht the sentinel has their shield and barrier for defense plus multiple ranged biotic attacks. the vanguards have VERY weak shields and a couple bullets without shield could kill them. their only ranged attacks are shockwave (which is useless unless mid to close range, pull, which is also usless unless mid to close range with the shotgun, and charge) they cant just stroll around in heavy combat like sentinels. its a big challenge playing hardcore with a vanguard compared to a sentinel

  • @IXxBossxXI I understand , but if you feel its important and get satisfaction from playing with a class thats lacking or the odds against you by all means have fun. Its not like Im saying the sentinel is a god or anything, but he do handle his business very well

  • One last thing I never said I didnt play on hardcore OR insanity with the Vanguard oR even did not like the Van Im just sayiing when the sentinel step in a room its pure ownage/pawnage whatever

  • @Amunnakht try a vanguard on normal. then try it on insanity without importing. same for the sentinel and vanguard. let me know how you do, even though i already know the outcome.

  • @Amunnakht also in terms of this massive handicap vanguards have they actually require you to use your BRAIN to play them rather than run in a room like rambo with 3 layers of protection and powerful ranged mass effect blasts and weapon boosters

  • @IXxBossxXI Is a sentinel really that much stronger than a vanguard. I was late to this party and just got me2 last week, but I ran through it as a vanguard on insanity. At first it was rather frustrating but as I got more points trained up it seemed pretty powerful. Hard for me to believe many other classes could be as good!

I'm planning on running through it as an adept now but maybe I'll have to get sentinel a try.

  • @xFiasco33 no theyre not more powerful. theyre heavily fortified with all the shields they have and ranged biotic attacks. which means you can rambo on insanity and itl be like playing normal. sentinels are for people who dont want a challenge. theres not the much fun in playing as a sentinel

  • @Amunnakht *insanity

  • @IXxBossxXI lol

  • Dammit...thought I was done with ME2 after 6 playthroughs, now I have to start another one as a Sentinel... AAARGH!

  • Which class should I pick, just got the game, sentinel or vanguard?

  • @r3lax0rzz mmm depends...im playing sentinel now, it is a skill-based play, relies on the tech armor, warp and overload mostly.Sentinel is good for stripping enemy's defense. As a sentinel, you dont need to move from cover to cover as much as vanguard, because you can recharge your shield instantly with the tech armor

if you okay with brawler, ballsy style playing, be a vanguard. you will rely on your shotgun and biotic charge. Vanguard is all about hit and run. both classes are fun to use

  • Tales of series is (J) RPG and has local multiplayer. It's a little feature but I certainly use it with my friend (who loathes Competitive MP more than me)... I can welcome that to ME easily and be grateful for it.

  • sentinel is my favorite class- everytime I power up Tech armor i feel like a badass

  • I can have Mass Effect 3 without multiplayer any day, just want the game to be good. But if I could get a friend helping me using one of the squad members (face it, the AI can be very dumb at times), no mather if it's online or splitscreen... I'll be happier. Hell... even getting it in PC and console simultaniously to grasp that feeling. But NO voice comm... just like in Demons Souls.

  • @ezecskornfan oh oh oh, COOP is always awesome.

Love stuff like that long time. Could have fun with that in DA too.

  • @ezecskornfan i thought the AI was pretty good, for such a complex combat system, biotics, cloak, guns, tech armor, tech powers... I m pretty sure was not easy. It works wonderfully on a easy or normal difficulty, go to hard or insanity and AI team mates are a bit useless, but that´s a challenge too!

  • @p1ngu1no

exactly, but I usually play on hard this kind of games so you know what I mean :P It's really weird to see the manly man Zaeed get kicked by random geth or merc, he looks so badass.

  • Best class! gotta lov ttech armor!

  • only bad part about sentinel is no sniper rifle

  • @downtownford Hold on, what?! What are the weapons, then?

  • @rhinnawi95 sentinels can only use pistols and SMGs sadly

  • @theprophet113 Darn... I'm bored of being a soldier, and for some reason, infiltrators don't appeal to me as much. Not good.

  • @rhinnawi95 Go with engineers or adepts. Do a bunch of side missions after horizon, and one recruitment (Tali's for engineers, samaras for adepts) and pick shotguns on the collector ship. That way you will have shotgun for the majority of the game, while enjoying the biggest challenge the game has to offer.

  • Ehm, this level is Garrus' loyalty mission, and his squadmates are Thane and Mordin...

  • @TheGoodmovielover Rumours are circulating that ME3 might have it to some degree. I personally could do without multiplayer, in case it detracts from the single-player experience.

  • @FellFather

A multiplayer would be nice ;)

i surely would love a Coop Campaign playthrough with my friends :D

  • @TheGoodmovielover Mass Effect is an RPG...

  • how do ppl use assault rifles as sentinals??? im getting tired of using the pistols!!!

  • @narutix07 Once you get sent by Illusive Man to investigate the *disabled* Collector Ship, once you find the Collector Data you will also get a choice of a new weapon for your class or to upgrade to another weapon spec.

  • 0:59 and ur overload is great against mechs

does like no damage and barely does anyhting to the heavy mechs shields

  • I love this class! This is the class I will take into mass effect 3, kick some reaper ass as a sentinel.

  • @joshuaarias100 You should also try the Vanguard its very fun and very powerful.

  • @XephronZ I already have a save file with my Shepard as a vanguard. You are right! but I think I will use the sentinel first. I had some trouble controlling the vanguards power but it was definatley a great class.

  • @CVGunit2012 technically no matter wat the class, u can have any squad mates with u.. i usually do a full biotic or a full soldier squad.. like id be an adept and id have jack and samara

  • Tech armor's good, but doesn't show in cutscenes!

    BOOOOOOO!

  • they shud have put the shield eplosion thing on the vanguard

  • Sentinel is like a cheat code, you just can't die while playing this class. Adept class is also bad ass but Sentinel is like Adept/Solider.

  • lol i wish i can combine sentinel shield with vanguard charge

  • @holycow343 lol some kids use mods to do that.

  • @holycow343

    Vauntinel - The ultimate soldier.

  • This was the first class I brought into ME2, and after two years of fucking around with the other classes, I think it's going to be the one I bring into ME3.

  • Oh also, stop putting shit on Christina. I thought she was a feminine man at first, but it doesn't matter.

    She actually speaks sense.

  • does tech armor show up in cutscenes?

  • @superfreegoat yes, so do barriers, geth shield boost and fortification.

  • @jazzysax102391 cool.

  • why is there blue suns and robots everywhere in mass effect 2

  • @quadassio You probably play Mass Effect levels in LittleBigPlanet.

  • @quadassio you're welcome

  • @quadassio you're a fag pussy ass bitch this game is amazing

  • @xXProReachXx Sighs...I guess I T-Bagged you on COD. Sorry dude.

  • @quadassio Sorry son, I've got Little Big Planet and I was rather bored after 30 minutes.

I've played all the Mario games and sadly I've had enough...

Mass Effect is the definition of epic.

  • I'm planning on beating ME1 and ME2 with male and female Shepards of all classes (continuing the ME1 guys of course). I'm also shooting for full paragon and renegade points for the more favored characters. Let's see how this goes. I just finished with my soldier (he's full paragon right now). I started sentinel now. Both male.

  • ....I just take a soldier and was happy....MY LIFE IS A LIE!!!!!

  • Can someone answer please

Is there any way i can get an assault rifle as the sentinel?

  • @Vuvenz When you go to the collectors ship and sheppard picks a weapon from a pile on the ground, you can get training in another weapon.

I got assault rifle training as vanguard, so I guess you can do the same as sentinel.

  • @darkprogram thx

  • Ive tryed vanguard and adept and of course soldier, after my infiltrator run ill have to give this a shot looks fun

  • Christina sound more like a Christopher.

  • @MGrim88 agree,i didnt believe when i heard she(lol) said Christina

  • @KRAUSER0130 ...That's a woman?

  • @dragoniguana yes that whoever it is talking in background

  • @KRAUSER0130 ...My god.

  • @MGrim88 more like gay Christopher

  • @overdosered oh snap?....

  • @MGrim88

oh shit... i thought it was a boy named christina.....

  • @MGrim88 i thought the guy talking was mordin O.o

  • @MGrim88 is it a man or a woman?

  • I pick the soldier so that i can have more than two peices of shit to shoot.

In ME3,anyone can use any weapon,so I might use sentinel

  • @MagMor4 If anyone can use any gun, what would the point of the soldier be, and what would the reward be for people who stuck with the soldier since the beginning of the franchise?

  • @AsianWolfMan91 In ME3, Anyone can pick up any weapon type, but only the soldier can carry all 5-6 types at the same time.So it's still unique.Sentinels can only carry two of any weapon they choose.

  • soldier is boss

  • Ugh I NEED to get Mass Effect 2 so I can import and then beat it and see more of this EPIC story and then get Mass Effect 3. Are you able to import from ME2 into ME3 as well?

  • @MrLagvag Sweeeeeeet

  • @WorthlessNobodies Of course. If you survive.

  • @WorthlessNobodies duh nigga

  • Will the Sentinel class be back in ME3? I soooo want to cloak Shepherd behind waist-high barriers again!!

  • @ToiletBomberAlpha of course why would they fuck over all the sentinel people whove had them since the first mass effect?

  • Why don't you sound like a cute gay little fucking queer piece of shit :)

  • i ll get this game

  • Am I the only one who noticed that the game footage of Garrus' loyalty mission doesn't have Garrus Shepard's squad?

  • i havent tried this class but LOVE the vanguard :D i just think the charge and the biotic powers are awesome

  • Sentinel's one of my favorite classes but I'd choose Vanguard over anything else. Use Charge at the right moment and you can flank enemy squads very easily. Also, Claymore+Charge vs. Harbinger with armor on Insanity is instant death.

  • Sentinels kick ass!

  • meet the sentinel :3

after the soldier, was the only class that could "hold the line" in the five waves of attacks from the arrival DLC in insane for me :D

  • @freedomphamtom agree 100%. I thought the soldier and sentinel were by far the best 2 classes. stasis or reave all the way.

  • i don't use that much biotics as a sentinel. it's all about the tech armor and shooting at close range with melee .(esp when you got good upgrades for your guns ) .

  • As an Engineer/Infiltrator, I gotta say I didn't like the Sentinel much. They were balanced, but the lack of major advantages they have over enemies, while not necessarily crippling, cause you to spam biotics. I was hoping for a bit more tech-use.

  • @KoronofHearts all the tech/biotic powers suck in ME2 anyways. Bioware nerfed powers so much in this one it was hard to beat it on insane w/o the soldier. Sentinels were only good with dlc items like the mattock and locust smg. Overload was the only tech power i ever used and sentinels had it. Also Reave or stasis with the class with the highest cast rate in the game = rape. Only class i could play on insane with other than the soldier.

  • First time I played I went soldier, and I felt so badass when I like used adrenaline rush, untill I went with infiltrator....then I went with adept...then sentinel, lawl till I played all 6 classes, and I have to say...soldier kinda blows when you play as the other classes

  • At first I played the vanguard and had a really hard time even on normal no I'm trying the setinel on hardcore and only died 1 time so the setinel is the best in my opinion

  • man the sentinel is so cheap

  • @cokewaveism You mean over powered. The Sentinel is by far the easiest class to play on insanity.

  • is.... is that a chick or a dude?

  • All the other classes make Soldier look the weakest lol

  • i dont give a rats ass about dragon taiils!

  • huh. No one told me that the definition versatile had been changed to "badass"

  • Okay, i played like this 1.Vanguard 2.soldier and third playthrough is possibly gonna be sentinel. this looks awsome!

  • One cannot truly enjoy Mass Effect 2 without trying all of the classes. This one happens to be my favorite.

  • @Glaikery Same here, Sentinel & Engineer is my favorites. But it's mainly because Engineer's Combat Drone works really well as a decoy. I mean, if an enemy is attacking my drone, even if I attack them, they won't let the drone go.

  • @Glaikery I know right. On another video I talked about how i used sentinel for the first time on hardcore and i had a lot of fun getting a shotgun and just rushing with the tech armor stunning enemies, and this guy jumps down my throat talking about how he has beaten the game like 15 times and how the sentinel sucks. as much as i love me2 15 times? and with the same class? i don't know what that guy's deal was but variety variety is key.

  • @SungLung Don't mind him. Just play the way that you want to play. And if he doesn't like it? Fine. It's not like he can do anything about it lol.

Me? I'm just curious why he thinks the sentinel class sucks.

  • I like the vanguard but this class looks badass aswell

  • best class is infiltrator and or engineer

  • @IMB2U Cos he's epic. xD

  • Soldier Class is clearly the best, best weapons, best armor, best experience and you can simply have a tough solider with a squad bonus biotic power. Bad ass! lol

  • if i am loading my save from me1 do i have to remain the same class i was in that game? or can i change it in the beginning?

  • @kirielvids You can pick whatever class you want with any new play through, even an imported one. :) You just can't of course change your sex when you're importing a saved character from ME1. Class Ideas: Vanguards are fun, if you find it difficult just pick Barrier as a back up. Then when you charge into a situation over your head, use it and then run to cover. :) An Adept with Area "Energy Drain" could work well too, haven't tried it yet, though. You get it from Tali.

  • @Gerrit80 thanks. i played it through first as a soldier but i didnt like the decisions i had made. like i didnt want to kill the council but i kinda felt i had to so i am replaying it as vangaurd and being a paragon.

  • @kirielvids Yeah, sounds smart. I did a play through where I killed the Council off in ME1 and then proceeded to go very xenophobic and racist in my ME2 play through. Be interesting to find out if I'll get any help from other races come ME3. Probly "cooked my goose"! Lol But that's part of the fun, to see how it all goes down later.

  • can you not ware any other Armour besides light as a sentinel ??

  • Adept is kewler

  • @Nynja123TRT agreed

  • Sworn to avenge

    Condemn to hell

    Tempt not the blade

    All fear the Seeeeeentinel

  • honestly the only thing i thought of about the sentinel was a guy jumping around yelling at everything, "HIT ME, HIT ME, HIT ME, HIT ME, HIT ME!!!!!!" mind you though nothing is tougher and makes a great point man, other than a Vanguard.

  • SOUNDS LIKE A MAN!

  • Thumbs Up if you beat the Game on Insanity with the Sentinel

  • @csufrunner1 Biotic all the way! never have to shoot a bullet! :)

  • @csufrunner1 looks like no one did bro xD

  • the only reason i picked Sentinel as my class is because it sounded like the coolest class as an added plus the tech armour saved my ass a bunch of times i barley died during the game

  • I am Commander Shepard and this is my favorite class.

  • Id use either sentinel or engineer, juet because i love the tech armor and combat drone so much

  • @woodledoodledoodle I'm with ya man. But I'm glad I did engineer first, 'cause otherwise, I don't think Engineer would have been as fun.
