I think she should've made songs that support her vocals more. Shez a great singer, but it's jus the wrong song. And the songs on the album are to quiet for her. Itz obvius by the way presents herself on stage. I think she was tryin to copy Dangerously in love with all those slow, ballads. But nobody was fallin for it and thatz why (I think) the album flopped.
I think people get her personality confused with her singing..............its a big difference. I like her to but Beyonce carried destinys child on the singing tip.
No she didn't carry them , she was the only one given the chance to sing lead and when they did get to sing parts they weren't released as singles. The didn't come until later. Of course if you're not given the chance to really be heard people will think you can't sing and all of the focus is on one person, the person that's pushed to the front. @MrBoytoy143:Some one who writes their songs. Their songs has a meaning. It's coming from the soul. plays an instrument. Even gaga can play an instrument. Who else is there. There is the upcoming janelle monae, shontelle. There's hudson, Mariah carey,lady gaga. Beyonce isn't hitting on anything compared to these singers. In fact brandy and beyonce had the same song in one of their albums and most people felt brandy did better than B. It's subjective but I'm not surprised.

Oh shit you're absolutely right. Considering kelly's hair and skin color, the best thing she can do is to wear silky fabrics with flashing colors like yellow or mauve. She's got the legs and the figure to wear an outfit like that with success.

Kelly is as good as Beyonce. Kelly would have gone very far if she was promoted right. Mathew Knowles has done nothing for Kelly's solo career. I glad she left and got a new manager. Her shoes are nice but they look a little to big for her feet. She need a smaller size.

Don't you guys recall from the Beyonce and Destiny Child videos that Kelly was ALWAYS the 2nd child of the KNOWLES family. She and the family pumped up Beyonce..(Yes the color thing was an issue in that family).

Beyonce has been given all of her opportunities because she was promoted more. Kelly and Michelle had to go looking for opportunities because they were not well promoted. They were all managed by the the same person, Matthew Knowles.

I remember the actual telecast of this which obviously looked and sounded much better than this youtube video.
I stood there in front of my television, trying to leave for work but I just had to watch the whole performance...the music was fantastic, choreography was awesome and Kelly looked so beautiful.

I think she should've made songs that support her vocals more. Shez a great singer, but it's jus the wrong song. And the songs on the album are to quiet for her. Itz obvius by the way presents herself on stage. I think she was tryin to copy Dangerously in love with all those slow, ballads. But nobody was fallin for it and thatz why (I think) the album flopped.

No she didn't carry them , she was the only one given the chance to sing lead and when they did get to sing parts they weren't released as singles. The didn't come until later. Of course if you're not given the chance to really be heard people will think you can't sing and all of the focus is on one person, the person that's pushed to the front. That's why a lot of groups don't stay together.
