101 Dalmatians is a film that tries to prove that dogs are equals to humans, in terms of intelligence, morality, and emotions.

Scenes like this prove that dogs may not only be equal to humans, but also superior to humans, in that situations like this would be considered racist and prejudiced to the human race, but does not offend any breed of dog. The Labrador even approves!

In short, dogs are better than humans.

Either that, or it's overlooked racial subtext. XD

Great scene! Unfortunately I've found out a big dubbing mistake in the Italian cartoon version. "Look, I'm a labrador" becames "Look, I'm a NEWFOUNDLAND", because the Labrador breed maybe wasn't well known at that time in our country yet, so the dubbers liked better to turn the correct definition Labrador into Newfoundland! Looking to the black dog in fact there was something fishy there...
