thats a pretty low level st bernard, especially for a male. Did you have papers? He seems to be a mixed breed to me, too small and hair too short. not that breed makes a good dog, doesnt really matter if you dont take him to shows or anything, a dog is a dog, just a friend

I had a St. Bernard name Bruno too when I was growing up. We had to put him on our grandparents farm as he was too big and too the farm was more of his environment then a house dog in the city

I lost my saint Gizmo a year ago to a stomach bloat . I was extremely upset with the vet because they never told us about this problem. I've been reading that saint bernards are the 2nd most likely breed to get a stomach bloat.

@pianoexpert11 Young bernards are very plushy. They lose these soft hair later. They lose old plushy hair on spring to prepare for summer, and then the hair grow long, and get soft for winter.
