My parents are pretty liberal but im a 26 year old virgin. This is not by choice. Of course I want sex. But we live in a society whereby virginity is mocked. This makes my blood boil.
Involuntary celibacy can bring about feelings of deep loneliness, depression, mental anguish...
I agree sexual repression brought about by theocracy is a problem but I also oppose the cruel scumbags who mock those in my position.

It's not just religion doing this. Society at large in the western world is very repressive and it reflects in the media.
