ok I don't get the delimber machine it seems very redundent concidering there is a such thing as a proccessor that does the job about 10X faster anyone explain this to me?
the h model skidder is junk we run one has less then 800hrs replaced ECU, transmission control,puts up more codes then we have time to figure out and will not pull a sick whore out of bed.
The shear head is used in this area (colorado) due to the beetle kill/fire hazard. The continuous saws (FS20 is an example) are more likely to cause sparks when contacting rocks for example. The shear head will actually be a future option on the JD feller bunchers. Some countries such as Australia regulate the use of shear heads vs. continuous saws.

you need a little more practice on the loader and then you can delimb a lot faster
