@obsessedwgaming I agree...sap and jar of flies i think are "experimental" and more spur of the moment because I think with both of those ep's they didn't have any pre conceived idea about the type of songs. sadly as I listen to more aic they get darker and more depressing as time goes by. 'get born again' and 'died' are just so dark and sorrowful. great tunes though

I don't like how the self-titled album was recorded: the drums sound weak and I don't know why Layne decided to overdub his vocals all over the place - it actually makes him sound stale.

The songs on it are actually really good, though. I prefer live versions of these songs to the ones heard on the album. It's the recording that stinks.

That being said, I like this song cause it's actually different for them. I like the punk rock style of it all.

This song is possibly one of the creepiest songs that I've ever heard, next to Frankie Teardrop by Suicide. I see songs as colors, and this one is a swirling electric storm of bright green that emanates the horrid hopelessness and despair of heroin addiction (which I hope never to experience). It's very disturbing though... such an inconspicuous track, less than 3 minutes, never performed live... yet so... compelling. It's very odd and creepy, like a hand reaching out to grab you into the song.

I have to respectfully disagree. Though I do like AIC, I LOVE Nirvana. Mainly for Kurt Cobain - he used neat techniques like piano strings on guitars, etc, very creative. Loved his lyrics and great scream. Novoselic is a great bassist, and as much as I personally don't care for Grohl, he's a good drummer (that physically hurt to say). He should stick to drumming, though lol. But to me, Kurt is the best. Always will be in my mind. I didn't think Cobain was/is overrated at all. Peace!
