I think the Canadian system is not a mess but at least we can relax a bit knowing that we are insured for the basics and sometimes even more so. In the USA if you got Cancer or HIV, you are so screwed unless you are wealthy and / or get charity.
Also, for any of you "progressives". Are you aware that American prisoners in the jungle camps in South Vietnam were offered early realease if they were proven to be more "progressive" than other prisoners? "Progressive" is just another way to say "communist". When I hear the term I wanna vomit.

I had a chance to meet James in IA when he came here for Edwards. He was totally genuine and so nice. He is so right about Edwards! He is the best candidate. He not only speaks of change, he has implemented many of his plans, opening a poverty center and creating a college tuition program. There is a candidate that just talks about change, but it's not Edwards. Edwards walks the talk.
I have to say, when I saw Edwards speak the other day after the NH vote, I was totally impressed. I think he spoke the best out of all the candidates and it was quite inspiring. I hope he can improve his numbers. Speaking of 'change' he was quite refreshing.
Speaking of change is one thing actually bringing about change is another. Edwards while he speaks well you have to look beyond that what has he done in the past that backs up what he talks about. Seems like a nice guy but that shouldnt be enough to vote someone in office
