People have two kicks but use one because it looks cooler but tuning two kick drums exactly the same is a cuntwhore so they cheat. It's all just visual. The good thing about usin two kicks is that the skin of the drum has more time to resonate before the next kick hit giving the skin time to sound better every hit. But like I said.
