What a great video, you were filming at the right time! ;) I looove the footage at 1:10. Kind of sad though, kealakekua bay has been "discovered" and has been a commodity for tourist charters for a long time. Of course everybody want to "swim with the dolphins". Its not anyones fault, but i just dont want to see that happen to the bays here on Maui where we enjoy the dolphins without the company of hundreds of boats and tourists.

I know what you're saying. We were on kayaks headed out to snorkel at the Captain Cook monument, not on a charter, but we certainly saw charter boats and lots of fat people with "pool noodles" catching a glimpse and then quickly leaving. Anything for the photo! We rented from the fellow right at the bay... a lovely Hawaiian man. What a great memory for us... who travelled from snowy Canada for some sun!
