  • a special song to me xoxo

  • Stevie Nicks on this song: Flat as a pancake.

  • Comment removed

  • Yes they are still alive lol

  • I guess smallface was in back then...haha! Gotta love em

  • Mick, you are sikh

  • Mick has a turban on, why?

  • This band,,,,,,is alive yet?

  • @Jeremsey I'd say it's mostly 2 girls singing... Christine, with backup from Stevie Nicks of course. And I too love this song, by the way :-)

  • is that a turben

  • Is that christie Mc Vie singing or guys singing? Cause the voice is kinda confusing

  • is that a smurf on the drums 01.37, great song fom a great band.

  • whos that guy singing?

  • @CANSECO5144

    Lindsey Buckingham

  • Christine, Stevie and Lindsey were one hell of a vocal trio!

  • From 1974-1980, the three hottest acts on the planet were Linda Ronstadt, The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. Their concert ticket sales, album sales and chart positions verify that!

  • folks...just shut up and listen to the great music !!!!

  • is that Osama playin drums @ 2:18?

  • @hammer41184 your funny, racists...

  • @Brcnosaur not racist in the slightest. just rather ignorant.

  • Lindsay, Christine, Mick, Stevie, John. How did 5 mediocre musicians and songwriters produce so many masterpiece performances in the course of a couple decades? I'm starting believe ieve ieve ieve in miracles or that in fact, they are 5 of the finest muscians who ever gathered together as a band to create music that transcends generations.

  • Obviously the 9 dislikes have'nt even noticed their earing-aids are on the floor behind them!

  • beautiful song

  • who's more underrated:Christine,John, or Lindsey?

all 3 are great & masters of their crafts but are constantly overlooked.

  • @kimdefleppardfan

Hmm....I suppose I'd say Lindsey. I would buy an argument for either of the other two, but I consider Lindsey to be the best at what he does out of those three, so I'll vote for him. It's hard to pass up John, though, because - even though I don't think he's as good at the bass as Lindsey is at the guitar - great guitarists are plentiful and comparatively it's SO much harder to find great bassists. Tough call.

  • @RyGuy913 i'd buy into argument of either 3. John's written some very memorable bass lines ,Christine has written several of the band's biggest hits, & Lindsey's not just overlooked as a guitarist but as an overall musician. true it's harder to find good bassists because they normal dont get alot of credit.

  • Was that Osama bin laden on drums?

  • @theddt7 He looks like a homeless Santa Claus

  • @theddt7 That's hilarious! I know, Mick looks like an idiot here. Also, it's no wonder Christine developed carpal tunnel syndrome given the way she's playing her keyboard. Holding arms out and up is a recipe for CTS. Perhaps the magnums of champagne she downed before & after every show, plus the "rails of coke" (as Chris described them) "numbed" the pain - just a tad perhaps? Still don't know why Stevie "Oreck vacuum" Nicks had to snort so much powder up her nose. Maybe to tolerate Mick & LB?

  • @redletter2008 I'm sorry, but I don't think I know any of the music you've created. What was it again?

  • @Splentaur Excuse me, but I have no idea what your comment has to do with mine. If you are insinuating that your ignorance of music I never created is license to refute personal opinions of a band I personally admire (and can do so with a sense of humor, as in this case), then you are perhaps mentally challenged? Or as we used to simply put it - you are a fucking retard? Is that about it? Oh, and we all know Chris never had CTS & Stevie never had a coke problem unless you write music. Right?

  • @Splentaur Did you pick up Ass Hole 101 from the Obama campaign? You know, try to personally attack someone that is speaking about a third party. Are you a member of Fleetwood Mac? Do you personally know any of the members, past or present? Do you have information that refutes anything I inferred in my original post? Do you have any sense of humor? I wasn't aware that failure to write music disqualifies one to comment on well, anything? I am sick of harpes that think they are just so cute.

  • @redletter2008 jesus, in the middle of all that rabid ranting I thought you could've at least mentioned one song produced by your obviously immense talent. I just hope it feels good to put down those who have obtained musical greatness, the likes of which, you could never know.

  • @Splentaur Where did you come up with the idea that I don't like Fleetwood Mac's music? Just because I justifiably said Mick looked like an idiot in THIS clip or referenced Stevie's HUGE cocaine use (it did happen even it you chose to ignore it). BTW I am a huge Stevie Nicks/FM fan. If you were also, you would likely have seen me comment positively on numerous other FM videos (check ANY of them out). In your world, those that refuse to worship a singer have to be able to write music? WTF is that

  • Perfect

  • Timeless masterpiece. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!

  • @cbr1100xxrules Yes, this is a TIMELESS MASTERPIECE! There is no other way to describe Fleetwood Mac...

  • HAHA,kinda funni3 yaaa :D

  • turbans. chest hair. un buttoned shirts and wine in plastic cups. see? see what happens when you do cocaine?

  • @ShawnAbnoxious Just pooped myself I laughed so hard. Couldn't agree more:)

  • @ShawnAbnoxious you mean, like, Lindsey at 0:43......high? nawww......

  • FYI....did you know "Animal" from the Muppet Show was supposedly a composite of Mick Fleetwood and Keith Moon (the Who)....look at Mick's expressions here....totally "Animal"......

  • The lovi9n starts when the lites go down and theres not a nother livin soul around, ik scoop a fresh bod outta the ground, and i swear that she loves me (censored version)

  • Lindsay is prob the most underrated guitarist EVER

  • @itzjoeymac solo was weak

  • Female Christie McVie vocals and keyboards

    sings at the beginning

  • Is that a guy or a girl who sings at the beginning?

  • @him3zz riiiight fool

  • ah masterpiece!!!!!!!!

  • @TheDorisNoris

In this video, Chris is playing a Roland EP-10. Ordinarily, she'd play a pianet (not a clavinet) onstage -- same manufacturer (Hohner) but different board.

  • @clivebrook what about the Yamaha CP-30?

  • Yea I love Stevie Nicks, wish they would do another album, that would be awesome!

  • Great Band that's all I have to say, GREAT!!!!!

  • I loved all their great songs. Christine had such a velvety, smooth voice.

A great deal of people influenced by Stevie Nicks forget that Stevie said many times that she was kind of insecure singing with Christine because she thought her and everyone else felt Christine was such a better singer than Christine.

On this and other songs, it's remarkable how great a guitar player is Lindsay. He's never mentioned with the greats, but he was and is awesome.

  • Another summer time favorite of mine. It's hard not to dance to it =)

  • Who is that on drums? Bin Ladin? I kid I seriously love Fleetwood Mac but I have never seen this video. I was 2 when this song came out but it is a timeless classic!

  • i want her keyboard.. 3 rows of keys??? aaah!

  • Lidsay Buckingham is a very under rated guitarist. Great tune!

  • Perfect!

  • This is why we love You Tube! To see great classic masterpieces from the past, a whole new generation can experience this classic brilliant music.

  • @markflem I spend hours looking for and enjoying old music/videos and new ones as well. Love it!!!!

  • I wonder why Mick was wearing a turbin.

  • The drummer always looks so crazy.

  • @MrButtbanger ahem... you mean Mick Fleetwood??? Hahaaa.... yeah. He always looks like he is on some kind of trip!

  • stevie nicks looks great i love her!!

  • I was lucky to see there farwell concert in Madison gardens NY.I had the greatest times of my life Thx FM

  • I was lucky to see there farwell concert in Madison gardens NY.I had the greaest times of my life Thx FM

  • This was THE super-hey day of FM. They had several #1 hits on RUMOURS. Thanx for posting!!

  • she looked better before her massive facejob....after which she was unrecognisable.

  • @uclrichard They all look better before they let themselves be butchered. Look at Priscilla Presley and what a mess her face is now. It doesn't even look like herself now. Sad business.

  • She was being wooed by Buckingham. He was a cad.

  • @TheGranule he was a burlington bounder as well. and what an afro...underrated guitarist, though.

  • aptAmerica11... if you new anything about music you would realize that without the tight rhythm section eg mick fleetwood, john mc vie this band would not have had the same success.

All 5 members bought something to this band. Together they became FLEETWOOD MAC .......................... AMEN!!!!!!!

  • Too bad they won't suck it up and all go on tour again together and make a bazillion bucks

  • Mokkari77 I totally agree!!! Christine is "Perfect"!!!!!

  • I can't believe Christine's maiden name is "Perfect"! That's the most fitting name ever.

  • Christine has the voice, I feel she carried this group. They were nowhere before her.

  • stevie does belong here

  • Stevie, you singing the notes with a ton of vibrato does not fit the song.

  • Comment removed

  • She's might easy on the ears and eyes. :) I love her.

  • fleetwood mac was originally created by a guy called peter green...probably one of the best guitarrists ever...he wrote most of their early hits black magic woman etc...but mcvie is very good

  • I never said she wrote most of the songs. Looks like that was someone else's comments. McVie said it herself on the most recent documentary that the reason she left the band was because she didn't like the way she was being treated and she didn't like the direction they were going. She made the stand herself by just opting out.

  • Damn straight! Christine know that I am so understanding of the bs you had to deal with. You are the one! Flip mick stev lyndsfor not putting you and your beautiful voice in front. Greed is not class.

  • @clubmidnightsun Christine says she never wanted to be up front. She was comfortable where she was playing the keyboards. I also disagree with you saying she wrote the most songs for FM that were hits. She may have wrote the most for FM because she was in the band longer than Stevie/Lindsey but they wrote some good songs that were big hits too. They were an incredible band, with 3 of the most talented singer-songwriters ever. And also one of the best rhythm sections around (Mick+John).

  • Comment removed

  • a poor girl like you ;)

  • Christine McVie is sexy...and talented...and for me..her voice WAS the 70's

  • Mick in a turban <3 <3 <3

  • Lindsay's guitar work on the live version is so much more fun than the album version. They did release a second (the FM play) version a few years ago, and thats great too.

  • Is Mick wearing a turban

  • This song really chugs along. No lip syncing and shit like the bands today like to do.

  • @dsfddsgh your sooos right this is unbelivable wooow this what's true talent is

  • I love fleetwood mac, pure music !!!!

  • BEATLE !!!

  • GREAT stuff,indeed!! :)

  • I grew up listening to this music on FM radio ... memories of driving to Cedar Lake from Menomonee Falls in the mid 70s when I was seven or eight, where this track might be followed by the Starlight Vocal Band or Abba or 'Paperback Writer' and it all seemed to meld into one.

Listening to it now, though, I'm struck by how much the sound, especially John McVie's bass line, reminds of some of the best NZ pop/punk from the 80s ... The Clean, The Chills, etc.

More of the Japan 1977 show plz........

  • Mick Fleetwood. The"Iotolla of RockanRolla!!!!!" : )

  • p,do,you,love,like,this,music,your,lovedrug

  • Well what can you say ,this is when you have to actually be talented and not rely on backing machines, loops, mixers and some mass marketing producer.Real legendary music.

  • i use to work at pizza hutt when i was young bout 15yrs ago. I was 15 then, this song use to play in the background. I've only just come across it again and Mean! Didnt realise it was fleetwood mac. I love thier songs..Too much!

  • Miss Perfect at her very best. Thanks for posting.

  • I never knew Osama Bin Laden played drums.

  • christine mcvie is a good singer, but her voice doesn't compare to stevie's. but christine is a better songwriter.

  • This music stood the test of time better than the Beejees or Abba.

  • @timejiff so very true. plus fleetwood macs music doesnt sound dated. in that sense it transends time.

  • @fundies2 I love FM......but the Bee Gees are timeless as well for me.

  • @timejiff please dont compare the beegees to abba...

abba is just...not good the beegees however are really good and classic! :)

also i love this song and fm

  • @DemiSelenaJonas Abba is a great band what r you talking about? But Abba and Bee Gees play different types of music.

  • @DemiSelenaJonas that's just your opinion miss...ABBA were/are very good (and that's my opinion!)

  • Nice Turbin Mic!

  • This one could also work as a country song.

  • Great performance by the mighty Fleetwood Mac. Mick Fleetwood and John McVie have to be one of the greatest rhythm sections in Rock music ever. And the song itself is just another fine tune by the ever underrated Christine McVie!

  • The famous Sikh, Mick Fleetwood!

  • I don't know who was sexier: Christine or Stevie. Fleetwood Mac = unbelievably talented band.

  • 1:35 best part

  • FLEETWOOD wHO?

  • Fleetwood mac best band in the 70s . The drummer is my hero . Hes a raghead like me . Fuxx the haters . Ragheads are not Muslims . They are Sikhs.

  • @jatsher Sikhs = Warrior class.

  • Yes ! This my like very

  • It took an English band to perfect the California sound; no surprise actually.

  • @ValerieBarlow This is definitely not the California sound, nor is anything Mac put out.

  • But how can you say that? EVERYTHING Stevie and Lindsey do literally drips of West Coast...? I'll agree that FM in general has the British sound but since the mid 70's things have changed a bit, I reckon. You can't deny the American influence on the band since these two joined, and it isn't all bad.

  • It's interesting John is using a pick and Buckingham is not. Either way it is great music

  • Rock on Fleetwood mack.F--k a bunch of rag head muslims.

  • ALLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHMickfleetwood !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Rock on Fleetwood mack.F--k a bunch of rag head muslims.

  • love it 8)

  • I love this band so much! They had some great songs. This one is especially a fav of mine.

  • Turbans are not a Muslim custom bro. Time to get out of your ghetto and see the world.

  • Bin Laden has put on a few pounds since this was shot.

  • @jon1156 racist

  • @91nickt Calling Osama Bin Laden fat is racist?

  • @jon1156 uh...no. man, you're more ignorant than I thought you were.

  • @ 91nickt Hey -- I'm sorry! I just think he just looks quite slim here compared to nowadays. No big deal, buddy. Let's be friends!

  • @91nickt - you are a sexist bigot.

  • Why was Christine not at the latest concert ?

  • Christine McVie retired and lives in England. She apparently does small solo projects though. I never got to see Fleetwood Mac in concert and wish and hope that she'd come out of retirement just one more time. I must say that she is a very alluring woman and appears even more refined with age.

  • Yes, that would be nice. Saw there tour in '09 and it was wonderful. But how much more sweet it would have been with her in it as well! This song is not the same without her! ;)

  • @krankyseven

She prefers to have a life without the Mac.

  • these young girl artist should take a look at such greats no one till this day can write or sing like this awesome!!!

  • pre nose job

  • off to see fleetwood mac this saturday...will feel a little ripped off knowing that chrissie will not be there

  • can't believe they didn't perform seven wonders!!! however this song rocked tonight!!! i thought stevie lacked a bit. i'm not complaining. free concert :)

  • so how did u get the 'free concert"??????

    cost me a kidney lol

  • i did the bad thing. my broke ass, jumped the fence :( However if Christie was on this tour, I would have paid a good $200.

  • i've always loved christie more.

  • Christine, I know you'll never see this but I love you!

  • yeah i read that he kicked stevie and Christine slapped him and threw a drink on him backstage during the tusk tour in new zealand

  • Excellent drum performance by Osama bin Fleetwood, there. Christine 4 Eva!!

  • Yah, luv Mick's turban.

  • Is Mick wearing a turban in this video?
