This was an interesting video and it talked about all ranges of perspectives for sure, but without some kind of narrator to moderate or a way of outlining the video so it had some kind of ebb and flow it felt like it was just all over the place. Since the company did go through an awful lot of trouble and expense to create a shoe just for N.A. people and it’s essentially free I would think they could be a little more appreciative. I really don’t see this as a marketing ploy since there’s no
….chance of them making any money of this. It’s not mass marketed or available to everyone which sucks. I can get it through my Indian clinic/wellness center but there are plenty of people who I know personally who can’t prove their heritage and would love to have these but can’t get them. They’d be more than willing to buy them, but they don’t sell them like that. Aside from them not being very attractive I would definitely use them because standard shoes no matter how well made hurt my feet
i guess i have wide feet haha you should check out the supra black and white it has a cool native american print but they are narrow shoes so you have to brake em in
one that people are forgetting is that the issue isn't just that native americans have wide feet...its that the front portion of their feet is wide and their heel tends to be average. so if you buy wide shoes your heel is sliding around in the back. as a native american...I think its wrong that nike only made these shoes available to peeps on the rez. I wasn't even born on a reservation...but my genes didn't change!
2 years ago Nike made a shoe specifically for Native American feet -- wide with a narrow heel. It has been available solely (pun intended) to Native Americans through tribal wellness programs. Now, Nike has done this big promo about this program and just released the N7 shoe...BUT...they don't tell you that the just-released shoe ISN'T the one they developed for the program! :(
They should have design that shoe better! They could have done a better job, you guys got ripped off! They should have made some Jordans with some turquoise and white with a tribal pattern, that would have been nice. Those look like shoes my great grandma would wear lol!
Gluten and dairy is killing native people!!!

Nice work on this one. Who is the talking head?
Did it get cut off short on the export? Seemed a little abrupt at the end there...
I just created a new queer runner if you want to come cover it.
