  • @dreamboynyc2 just be good to me is one of thier songs, so they did not steal it.

  • @baangel24 1979, they signed a recording contract and released their first album, The Two Of Us.[1] It contained "Don't Stop the Music", which topped the US Billboard R&B chart in early 1981, knocking their label-mate, the Gap Band's song

  • Love this song! I know it says don't stop the music but they did stop the music everybody did! The music we have today needs to be stopped and the music from back in the day needs to continue! Come on yall don't stop the music! Real music that is! What ever happened to it?

  • @mwjnks I hear ya though..I bet you had a lot of fun though!!!!!!!!!!!! And I am Black!!

  • @mwjnks I feel you on that one. This music sees no color

  • @mwjnks I grew up listening to this music as white kid. My favorite bands were Bar-kays, One Way, Lakeside, Cameo, Zapp, Atlantic Starr, P-Funk, etc. To a certain extent The Blacks didn't trust me because my skin was white, and the whites hated my guts because my music choice was 100% Funk! I never backed down from either side. Never will!!!! 1979-1983 funk best R&B ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @joeskaterAZ Continue to stand your ground!!!!Your choice...That's what God gave each and everyone of us...FREE WILL!!!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family, from me and mine....
