  • hi ... very thanks for your videos its really helpful

    i learn the first steps for php!

  • Helpful :)

  • chokran > Morocco

  • Thank you mate! your tutorials are so helpful to me.

  • TÁ EM INGLÊS MANOLO, EU QUERO EM PORTUGUES ! =x

  • @GaNnEXuS aprende inglês manolo, a programação é também em inglês e se tu não o sabes não sabes o que fazes

  • When you have only one statement you don't need the curly brackets. For example

    if ($first<$second) echo "test";

    else echo "something else";

  • Bucky, I love your tutorials, but please, remake this set? With use of the tab key as well! :L,

    Really though,

    Thanks Bucky.

  • just a question, am I able to make the echo in between { and } ? like this?

    if ($first<$second)

    {

    echo "test";

    }

    ???

  • @WorldOfCrazeSolution absolutely

  • @WorldOfCrazeSolution I don't think that this has been answered yet, so let me. Yes, you can do that.

  • Your like my Computer Science Teacher. She makes me write all the software in the world and I make one little minor error. A syntax error one small one and she blows up. Well at least you teach the info . I have respect for you thank you for helping me learn php. :D

  • There's nothing like a bit of "you're probably going to mess this up" to inspire confidence during a tutorial..

  • @JoshuaXiong100

    ; is the computer version of a period in a regular sentence. why would you have it outside a wrapping bracket.

  • love the way you say something....:)

  • Really awesome :-)

  • Your coding standards suck. And you should have explained operators before using them. Thats just my opinion, good job doing the videos thought, and fix your coding standards!

  • Bucky seems really grumpy in these tutorials :/

  • @TheMusicPiper he is probably just mad about something. But he is a really nice dude

  • alright ++++

  • hey thanks for the help, just wanna know did you make your own web site or was it done by somebody else??

  • php installed on eclipse

  • @SandySynaptik

    1.Look above the vid

    2.Look under the vid

  • Why doesn't the owner of this channel reply?????

  • Ur a lot more fun to listen to in your newer vids

  • @jorjor5379 ya ikr I really can't stand him in the PHP tutorial he is kinda mean.

  • where is elseif

  • How did you get all the colours in Notepad++?

  • @melsieboytje Its automatic notepad++ dus it 4 u

  • how do you do greater or equal to and less than or equal to?

  • @xXMrMonocleXx ">=" or "=<" or "=" respectively

  • very nice your are good teacher thankx for teaching .vvvvvvvvvvvvvvv thankx

  • fix the audio man

  • Comment removed

  • Thanx man! I get it. Your videos are good.

  • same like in vb.

  • how do you the { to the right under if ($first......)

  • @sijmenjan To explain further I will give some examples:

    ("2" == 2) would be true (string and integer)

    ("2" === 2) would be false, but ("2" === "2") and (2 === 2) would be true

  • 3:00 Wrong :P

    == (two equal signs) mean "is equal to"

    === (three equal signs) mean "is exactly equal to"

  • @sijmenjan wow... i didnt see that coming... i tried it ... i seriously thought you were just being funny

  • guys can i ask something maybe you can help...

    isnt there something wrong with this code

    if ($variable==2,4) //i used a comma

    {echo "This is an even number"} ?????

    or should it be:

    if ($variable==2 || $variable==4)

    {echo "this is an even number") ?????

  • @rolandroiroi I'm not sure cos I'm new to php but I think you might need a semi-colon ; between the quotation mark and the curley bracket at the end like what he has in the video. Or you might need a space after the comma... I'm not sure, I'm only guessing.

  • @blahbaa86 Hi mate. I know i'm a little late, but just to make it clear for you and others, you need the semi-colon at the end of any statement. That's how you terminate a line, when you've given an instruction. The curly brackets are only being used because its a conditional statement. You have to enclose those as Bucky has done. BTW, spaces aren't required, they just look nice syntax-wise. It makes looking at your code less confusing, kinda like adding comments. Hope that makes it clearer.

  • @justapodcast Thanks for that cos I was still unsure if spaces were needed after commas and thanks for clarifying those other things as well.

  • @blahbaa86 One more thing I didn't say is alot of people space things out differently. Many ppl have the opening curly bracket face out, then go the the next line to start statements. Then after the statements, the go the the next line to have the curly closing curly bracket, perhaps even line up with the opening. Up to you really. Also, if you only have one statement for the condition, php doesn't even require the curly brackets at all. =)
