i've played softball my whole life, im on a travle team. i do know what im walking about when i say this. a softball is harder to hit than a baseball anyday. reason being, a pitcher's windup is designed so that the ball come out on a "strait" or "flat" plane. while, in baseball. it comes from high to low. therefore, that's why baseball players can't hit a softball? its hard to explain, i had to think it over.

im 12 yrs old i played with the 14 15s i hit 450 ,and my batting average was 770 where the the two best players were 810 and 790 .. and they were 15 yrs old.
