I was taking Yasmin for about a year and a half and I have been having lots of problems since the first month of taking Yasmin. I went to my doctor almost every month and told him I had concerns. I have stopped taking it since last Dec. It's a year but still have been having long periods, headaches, pains in the lower abdominal pains, not sexually interested in my man either, when I have sex bleed, and I sometimes get swollen feet and ankles too....

My wife was 20 and began taking Yasmin on May 9, 2007. On July 2nd, 2007 she was hospitalized with a severe DVT that was preventing almost all blood flow in three veins that run from her knee, through her groin, and into her abdomen.While taking Yasmin she began having migraines with vision disturbances, irritability, leg cramps, and extreme depression. I agree that Bayer should be held responsible for all the damage that has been done w/o warning. Best wishes & i'm glad you recovered from this.
