Get yourself some model guns because actual smoke comes out of them and shells pop out of them. model guns are basically cap guns but simulate how real guns work. Have some slight lighting near the gun's barrels as your shooting off the guns to enhance the digital muzzle flashes. set up props to break since guns are being fired off. There are sparks flying everywhere, explosions going off yet the furniture, cups, anything that can potentially break is all okay.

Mr. Sniping Bunny (Awesome name btw!), those are made in effects lab using the "light sword" tool. (four points).

You can also make then using their muzzle flash engine (no side ejections, low height).

Or can can paint them in photoshop with a transparent background and composite them in most programs. And in panzercorps i painted them right in shake.

ElChupacabraLewis- the resin guns have gone up in price last i checked. The ebay seller's name is rmedges2lo0 . Cushmanpaintbal's stuff kind of sucks. I have a "bipod" and some ammo drums and they are poor quality. Your best bet is to do modern weapons and scour ebay for bulk sets. Also if you find some guns that are shaped right but are bright orange you can paint them. ( panzercorps(dot)com under war film tutorials ) . Best of luck, if you find a great place let me know!

StinkyWizzleDick, that is the coolest name ever! HAHAHAHA I used EffectsLab from FXhome for the muzzle flashes and after effects to track and composite the spark hits. The tracers were also made in After Effects.

Thank you guys!!! I would have liked to make bullet holes on the walls but it was impossible to track with the hand-held camera movement. I still want to try using black dots on the wall to simulate the holes, then paint them out before are "hit". I bet its going to be a ton of work. Thank you again :)
