Braindeer rhymes with reindeer. And really folks, did the little guy have a clue that he was being made a spectacle of? I doubt it. I have to laugh sometimes at the people who are self conscious for other beings. As long as he was well taken care of I can't see the harm. Maybe now days we have a better understanding of how we shouldn't humanize our fellow beings for the sake of entertainment, but kids are smart and you'd be surprised how many kids saw Kokomo jr. and grew up to love...nature??
@reptilesRnice As I recall, Kokomo was part of a nature/nurture experiment where he was raised from birth as a human. After 2 years the differences between humans and chimps really became evident. I wouldn't say that being raised as a human is cruel, though certainly peculiar nowadays.
