you forgot to mention that thrun cant be countered try to get another thrun, countless times have i found myself being fucked by cancels and vapor snags etc and then BAM thrun changes the game for me against controll decks
you shouldnt have all of those cards that dont have "when this comes into play" or when it leaves play abilities. they just slow down the tempo of the deck.
This must be the cheap version of a birthing pod. Because I compared mine I just built and we have like 20 cards the same other than that your totally off.
I run a very similar build currently. I found that bringing Venser in and Abusing his bounce ability gets really nasty when you have sun titans, wall of omens, phantasmal images and phyrexian metamorphs in the mix. Some of those chains can get really wicked early game. Nothing better than bouncing a creature to end your turn with a stonehorn dignitary to stall an opponent then sacing on his/her turn to bring back annoying walls.
Im kinda sad baneslayer cycled. I recommend running archon of justice to replace baneslayer. Nice 4/4 flying body for 5 and when u pod it you get to exile a perm.
Hey I was wondering how your deck does against other decks. also here are some cards i am going to run in my gw pod that you arent, idk if they will be good or not. stonehorn dignitary, archon of justice, brutalizer exarch.
Your sideboard can also use 2x Celestial Purge 1 x Devout Lightcaster. The Lightcaster is great for Podding into versus Obliterator and Tezzeret, while the Purge can take out both those, and Splintertwin and Inferno/Grave Titan. IMO Beast Within is not good unless your 2 curve held 4x Overgrown Battlements and 2x Spellskite and maybe Bant for Deceiver Exarch (epic with Pod). If staying true to GW, Id say 2x Tectonic Edge MB and a Primeval Titan and 1-2 more in SB could help a lot vs multicolr
Previous elf player, current birthing pod player: What is your game plan versus Arc Trail? I was setting up the T3 Acidic slime with Llawanar Elf-> Bop-> Koth-Red arc trails for the 2-for-1 and I'm sunk. We have any game plan for that?
I like your creativity, but I must say that I dislike your lack of Pod protection. IMO replacing a Superion (or both!) for Spellskite (at least 1 MD and 2-3 in Board meta dependant) will protect your pod, protect your creatures from burn spells, and protect
you from Splintertwin combo (about 20% of the Meta!) Superion is great versus red decks, but remember that he does not come out on T2. As for your 3 drops, Sylvok Replica also does well versus Splintertwin, but also takes out Torpor Orb (Elves runs it in SB and Tezzereter runs 4 MB!!!). Mirran Crusader is not especially impressive vs red decks, so you could easily slide a copy out. Remember, Vamps runs 4x Grim Lavamancer now. Also 4 drop Solemn Simulacrum is a must. Phyrexian Metamorph ftw

Reclaim is an instant that costs 1 Green mana, and you can put target card from your graveyard on top of your deck. It might be useful to get back a creature you sacrificed with birthing pod.
What I've found to be useful is throwing in Roc Eggs as 3 drops, so when you sac it, you get a 3/3 flying bird token, which is better than the damn Egg, in addition to whatever you chose as a 4 drop.
In the event that you only drew one pod, would it be a good idea to drop in 2 voltaic keys? it would also help with creature removal when your pods are used up. actually, i would take out a bird and a hawk and throw in those two. anyway, just my two cents.
My first build of this deck originally ran only 2 Birthing Pods.
The curve is at such a comfy level that even when you didn't draw a Pod, you'd still be able to function properly. The Pod is simply a faster way to fetch a card you need.
You need more Acidic slimes imo, definitely over precurser golem. Also consider Emeria angel and a second Sun Titan. Also Viridian emissarys might be good for your 2 drop instead of running a bunch of mana dorks especially if they eat a bolt.
nice deck:) i would change the viridian corroputer for 2 reason:1 you try to win with dealing dmg and and not infect 2 youseless if you paly with a deck that doesn't play artifacts you can run the GGG 4/5 from zendikar btw that's another dekc that can be played thanks to the baning of jace:)
Oh, and what sleeves do you use? What color?

Acidic Slime-> Brutalizer Exarch = super painful, however, if you want to run Baneslayer and Birthing Pod, Spellskite is a must!

It looks really fun actually. The only question I have is how well this deck will do if you don't draw Birthing Pod. Would it still be functionable?

@azorious4 As an alternative you can also use Fauna Shaman
