You can also melt the wax in the microwave. Buy candles that are in a jar, and pop them in for about 10 minutes or so. It's alot easier than using the stove method.

Good, however as far as I know wax firestarters can only be started with a lighter, as opposed to a sparker, or flint. You could probably edit it quite easily though if you incorporated some tissue/cotton soaked in flammable liquid and Vaseline/wax...?

What I do is stock up the firewood, than pour a little less than a quarter of a cup of gasoline then throw a match on it and stock more wood above it. Quick, clean and convenient.
