I 2 am left handed, changed the strings over in high school sway back in the 60's but that was another century, after all these years, I WISH I NEVER SWITCHED,,,, before I picked up any guitar and played, now only lefties, and only I have a bunch of those, so I have to take one or two with me everywhere... if just starting you may want to use right handed guitars only,,, all the greats other than a couple did...

i am a lefty too.
except i play on a right handed guitar.
when i started i never knew there was lefty and righty.
so i learned with the strings upside down and played too long to be able to change.
nice.
just work on it a little.
