  • To get maximum coverage put on moisturiser then leave to sink in for 10 seconds only. Then apply the powder-it'll stick to your skin more.

  • @busybee142 - great idea! thank you!!

  • i have a question on the get sarted kit do i choose my complexion or does it come with what i need already, i am new to this and have no idea how this works, but i def want this

  • @JaNaOO8 - each kit comes with 2 different shades that you can mix to achieve your perfect shade. i say try it out at the store... just to make sure! :)

  • im an nc30 in mac's foundation. what color would you recommend for me in bare minerals? thx

  • I've been considering getting the starter kit but I'm not too sure how BM is with scars.

  • thanks now i know what color i should look for!

  • you should get a face primer (BM makes an AMAZING ONE called prime time)

you would love it more than the mac stuff u r using on ur brush!! you put it on ur skin after lotion. it will give u PERFECT coverage!!

it makes the BM look more of an even cream sortta look insead of uneven or too powdery

  • Oh yes, I totally agree wih you. I find that the BM's Prime Time is much better than that spray stuff from MAC.

  • for me the bare is very good.. use the "medium" and for the under eyes I use "well-rested"...

  • oh really? does that well rested really work? i've been wanting to try that...

  • good video!

  • thank you.. :-)

  • I have really sensitive skin. Does it matter if you skip that first step, with the facial cleanser cream stuff you put on your face?

  • it shouldn't. you should always go for whatever works for you.. ;)

  • thanks for the video ! (:

do you know any alternatives//choices to spray the brushes wet...?

  • water should do the trick hun! :)

  • I dont like bare minerals, dont give enough coverage when u have like small marks. I will stay with Black Opal.

  • actually that's what i noticed with it too, i just use concealer for the spots that couldn't be covered...do you usually apply your nare minerals wet or dry?

  • yea im in the the golden category too

im a golden deep & proud of it :D

bare minerals is my new best friend

  • i'm glad BM is working great for ya! <3

  • thats because its suppose to actually IMPROVE the quality of your skin thts y it so light

  • what is it that you're spraying on the brush? i couldn't exactly make it out.

  • it's the mac fix + :)

  • please try the prime time foundation primer with that. I posted in your other video I use that vitamins as the moisturizer but the prime time smooths your skin out you will be able to tell such a difference!

  • prime time primer is something you get from sephora, i got the skin revver up from ulta...they're just all the same i'm sure...i'm glad it worked differently for you! :)

  • If you have a bareminerals section in your ulta store you will find it there. I have to fight hard to win mine on ebay. They are not all the same. The vitamins moisturizes and the prime time smooths it out. I tested it with smashbox and it was not the same. If you don't want to try it of course that is up to you some of your viewers might like to try it though and I think that your honest review of it would help them.

  • thank you for the information, i will look into that. :)

  • where can you find bare minerals?

  • they're available at sephora and ulta or you can always check out their website.. :)

  • hi!...

ummm, just wondering if i can ask for a request?...can u do a tutorial on applying bare minerals dry? like the normal application?...coz, i just ordered it and i just wanna know the difference on how it would look like if it will be applied the normal way, hehe...

btw, u look really flawless either way, with/without makeup! dang, i wish my skin is as flawless as yours, T_T

  • sure thing hun, i'll put that on my list...i know i did that before that's why i didn't like it but who knows i might be able to do it flawlessly this time hehe! ;) i'll do it when i can.. <3

  • ang galing galing mo naman Sugar...keep up the good work...

  • salamat! :)

  • Looks great on you =)

  • thanks hun! :)

  • Thanks for sharing this info, I'm going to try this.

  • you're very welcome and thank YOU for watching! ;)

  • hi val how are you doing ? miss your tutorials here in you tube ... anyway i love bare minerals ive been using it a year now but i switch on other brand every now and then ... but i always love to get back on B.I. mineral foundation .. bec it feel very natural on your skin like not wearing anything but your skin looks flawless i get a lot of compliment on my skin using this foundation ..anyway you look so pretty with or without make up on ...

  • thank you so much! ;)

i'm really loving my bare minerals however, i may have to get a replacement for the brushes because they did shed a lot after i wash them and they became so poofy it looks really ugly!!! :(

  • for better application, use the handy buki brush or any kabuki brush you have. warmth is perfect for bronzing and contouring. if you have uneven skin tones bare escentuals is perfect. it helped even out my skin when I used it for 3 straight months...now I hardly use it since my complexion got better.

  • wow thanks for the tip my love! ;)

  • I got the 10 day sample of bare minerals and I didn't like it much at first because it didn't blend well with my skin, so I think I will try the Fix+ with it! Thanks for the tip :D

  • you're welcome..got the tip from a fellow youtuber hannah... :)

did you get a mini kabuki brush with that sample?

  • Yes I did! I used it once and then switched to a kabuki brush I got from Mark/Avon. It works muchhhh better.

  • You look great....just an advise...buy everyday minerals flat top brush it's $10.00 and it works great for full coverage using the bare escentuals kit.... you'll see a great difference..do the same spray some Fix+ with it!

  • wow only $10? for sure i'll try it out! :) thanks hun!

  • aww, you're so pretty!! This was super helpful, thanks!

  • thank you dear! ;)

  • Great video! This is great info!

  • try everyday minerals! you'll love it :)

  • we'll see, maybe... :)

  • Hi there! I've been using bare minerals for about three years now. I swear by that product because my skin's really sensitive and it doesn't make me break out at all. However, I find that if you use a light sunscreen under (oil free) or moisturizer, it makes it easier to blend and gives more coverage. In addition, the brush that you use with it makes a big difference. I use the full coverage kabuki brush (or the handybuki works just the same)for more coverage. I love watching ur videos!

  • thanks sherrie and thanks for the information.. :)

  • Sis I wouldn't recommend using the cap directly to mix the mineral. I broke out from doing that since the cap distributed bacteria into the rest of the jar. Use a separate clean bowl for each application, it's much like using a clean brush :) Also flat tops give great coverage for mmu imho.

  • Thats great information!!!

  • ok thanks.

  • what do u think i should get urban decay delux pallet or red she said pallet

  • it really depends on the colors you want dear. the UD deluxe palette is such a good buy though and it comes with the baby UDPP...

  • What about using the light foundation as a concealer after the golden one

  • yes that should work too! :)
