  • I like the potato you filmed this with

  • isn't it kind of stupid to show how to get into the back of it? haha

  • how many GALLONS per MILE not MILES PER GALLON?

  • @alextheromanian well, we could look at that cost (both to the environment and financially) and just toss these out and lose hundreds of more fathers, sons and friends... yea, let's save money and the environment.

  • You got to be a small guy to drive that Huskey. I'm 5' 10'' 150 pounds, with full kit it was pretty cramped, and the A/C didnt work! Its like a little one man

     oven in there.

  • Road Warrior has arrived!!

  • @davetileguy if your talking about transformers its bone crusher, otherwise i am sorry for this intrusion

  • @MartyB086 The movie

  • 240p, we meet again.

  • Find it kinda funny at the end. You see all these big tough army trucks then behind them is the random SUV. Guess just another day in Iraq

  • Interesting. Most soviet engineering school frontline wheeled units are using other scheme: Crew+Powerplant are displaced in front of the front axle. => mine hit comes too late to stop the vehicle.

  • We gotta thank the south africans for inventing these babies

they were riding these kind of vehicles back in the 70's and 80's

  • the MRAP with the mine claw, can i have one when zombies take over?

  • What is that vehicle at about 0:20? I've never seen any of those before

  • Nothing is resistant. Just very unlikely. People in war torn nations get very very VERY bored folks. They will find something. =P

  • @WildBuck007 - Won't they just make the IEDs bigger like they did last time?

  • @shumble32

I don't think so. To be realisitci. You have to be able to move through streets and such. I mean. It would be more realistic if they made them a little sharper and more like a sound proof room on the bottom.

Hard to picture if you never seen one. But imagine a bunch of pyramid like shapes on the bottom of this vehicle. Solid steel and then something like that can deflect quite a lot. But nobody listens to strange people like me on random comments XD

  • @WildBuck007 - I'm listening! And it's interesting what you say about how the deflection is accomplished.

I understand IEDs have grown larger over the years. From one 105mm shell to up-to 16 in 2 blocks of 8.

  • @shumble32

Well anything made for defense has an equal or more potent offense. The only thing really to do then is to ask how often such things take place against the cost to make these vehicles. The government only cares about money. Thus if the soldiers pay is cheaper than the vehicle. Guess who gets blown up? =P

    Sad but true.

  • @WildBuck007 "anything made for defense has an equal or more potent offence" - how about a tank trap?

I read somewhere that a soldier's death costs £1 million dollars, injury can cost a lot more. So because costs have to be kept down, mine-resistant vehicles are provided.

But it[s all futile - the coalition will pull out and the Taliban will take over again

  • @shumble32 saying that the taliban will take over once the coalition pulls out is like saying... that taking out the phalus outside of a vagina will cause [the unavoidable] pregnancy, the taliban has already done its job, look at where we are economicaly, whats the point of flawless predator drones if we at home cant save ourselves from this genocidal economy, with people more and more desperate commiting crimes to survive! free country? what a lie, we are shame to the founding fathers!

  • @Czaendermajer - Disagree - the Taliban taking over is, I think, inevitable. But the pregnancy in your analogy is not - your analogy is flawed. The rest of what you say makes more sense and is what I have always thought. Though the war in Afghanistan is only one of many factors involved.

  • @shumble32 the achienement of western goals through the "penetration" of iraq has left a seed of collective discontempt for the west which will eventualy take its toll [insert welfare queen joke here] on the western economy, a joint-middle eastern alliance formed by people like gaddafi is looming near the front door and china is already charging the us for its debt throught favors like protecting their leviathanic coppermine near kabul, what i say is logical, if you understand it well...

  • @Czaendermajer - I like your 'contempt' + 'discontent' = 'discontempt' !

All America's chickens are coming home to roost - it's like watching the decline of the Roman empire (except the US empire was economic, not geographical). Threats from many directions as the victims of it's 'America uber allies' policy see how weak it has become.

Iraq was mainly about supporting the dollar and telling the world that US policy, if pushed, comes down to 'might is right'

  • @Czaendermajer

America's economic greatness, and hence it's ability to fund it's unusually large army. Is based on it's cheap imports made possible by overprinting of the dollar, and the desperate hope that the world will continue to see the dollar, though debased, as being too big to fail.

  • @Czaendermajer

I hope US decline is slow and graceful - but politicians gain office by telling the voters what they want to hear "America is great! and powerful" - elected politicians (particularly right-wing) may be pushed into increasingly desperate and dangerous attempts to halt the inevitable.

It's also like watching a heavy weight boxer whose muscles are turning to fat. Still got a good punch but won't accept that it's time to change.

  • Those vehicles are useless against EFP... I can build an EFP-IED with stuff that I have in my garage...

  • @qayghjkedc he speaks does not know, and he who knows does not speak!

  • Terrorist #1 - "Bad news - the American devils have spent $400 million dollars on trucks that are resistant to our IEDs"

    Terrorist #2 - "Don't worry - we'll just build bigger IEDs"

  • @qayghjkedc yeeeah but I can blow a fart so badass it'll make yer ied look like a firecracker,,,, hahahaha

  • @basslightning1 XDDDDDDDDDD

  • @qayghjkedc and i'm the king of england

  • those are ied resistant ?

  • @gate6666 yes! google it!

  • optomus prime owned your cousin... nice ride though, i'll fund you guys all day.

  • @talredhedkid thats badass!

  • shotgun!

  • did some southern farmer design these ? looks like a tractor

  • @psuphs47 they use it to harvest explosives!

  • dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrSniper1500 well that made sense clone trooper

  • These vehicles suck

  • @anthonykfierro they suck yo tax money!

  • @Czaendermajer ahahahahah

  • But what's the purpose of the 3rd vehicle? It's realy 4 wheels and a cab. No apparent trunk, payload or hydrolic tools :/

  • @karbengo extreme technical advancements.....it uses elctronics to locate and in some instances destroy bombs

  • @cgspeeddemon1 That, is well said!!!

  • @cgspeeddemon1 no it doesnt... they can be equipt with GPR but nothing to destroy IED's...Unless one goes off under you

  • What are those vehicles that have only one occupant, looks a little like a grader without the blades.

  • Piece of shit.

  • @Tzekkie but very tough mine resist and IED resistant piece of shit!

  • в конце клипа прикольно - сопровождает обычный авто... - этих неприступных монстров.... - просто жесть..

  • SICK!!

  • that ugly once of shit saved countless marines and army abroad Semper Fi. do or die

  • @xxJavi25xx Ho Ah!!!

  • GAVNO. по-русски ГАВНО! тебя любым фугасом. даже до 75 мм

  • @ra8791 США никогда не будет возможности даже земля, на русской почве

  • @Czaendermajer

As they says on da Interwebz:"Google translate is so translate".

That "Russian" doesn't make sense unless translated back to English. 8D (and yes, I'm aware original post was done 5m ago, but that was really funny)

  • @SwineNahNah XD

  • What ugly peaces of shit

  • @bushpigification but very hard and mine resistant pieces of shit! ^_^

  • 0:25 is for mowing down taliban

  • @dodoz122 and the only ones who can operate that claw are gun totting rednecks from the south! 8D

  • @dodoz122 its really for digging up mines. :D

  • maaaaad max

  • @kingralpho F#CK YEAH!!!▐▐▐

  • If our president respected our troops and America....he would provide those for our troops......Not Bow to every nations leaders apologizing etc etc etc. Troop withdrawl is not the right thing

  • @randoggle805 remember vietnam! for history repeats! cold war was with russia! now its with russia china iran chavez etc!, there shall be war always! as long as people dont have all their basic neccesities & ambitions for free & do not pay tribute to nations institutions & any ism!▐▐▐

  • They should get the poor Truck drivers some of these for transporting good and stuff there. Hell I know if I was hauling supplies in one of those, I'd be damn happy.

  • @mbe102 maybe you get some in soviet america! ;), but whilte money is the lord we need it!

  • what is the one with just room for one person for?

  • so they can go ahead & if the vehicle is totaly anahilated then only one person will die & convoys behind that casualty will survive!!! something like that!!!▐▐▐

  • @Czaendermajer really??? they would spend millions of dollars creating this beast just as "bait"? couldnt it be some sort of tractor that rescues the damaged trucks from IEDs?

  • like i say!, its all the possibilities!▐▐▐

  • All the MRAPs are impressive machines; not just the design, but the overall engineering that has gone into them. The comments about the cost per vehicle hold nothing when compared to the lives these vehicles have helped save.

    Thanks for sharing the video.

    Nanotec

  • the cost of breeding humans is more expensive anyways!, especialy time!. like if they had 20 years to wait for full grown slaves!!▐▐▐8D

  • takes the show "Robot Wars" to a whole new level

  • Reminds me of the pingas wars!▐▐▐8D

  • usa military is slowly turning into a comical gay army

  • well atleast they are fixing the camouflage "2010 usa army new multicam camouflage" but at such a damn highg price!!! <--- for what the killing mahcines called soldiers/liberators to kill more people???, instead of spending on industry!, dont worry. civillizations like rome have done this!, do they exist today!, well yeah they are the usa but untill people & leaders develop unbreakable body soul & minds!, the world shall continue being comercial & gay!▐▐▐

  • @chrisjoneschrisjones Im enlisted into the Army none of the Soldiers men and woman I fight with over seas are gay. Your the homo get a life enlist do it see how hard everyday life is for us im sorry I fight for no good scumbags like you. You will thank us for our service one day.

  • @jeremyhall420 many people are stuck in the greek ages!!!

  • @jeremyhall420 @jeremyhall420 gayness??? study the history of sparta!, in iran defense there are many thread over thermopylae & 300, the spartan officials thought that gayness in the army increased bonds of warriorship! but it just made their (gay)army fall in love with the army they fought ▐XD

  • a lot of money wasted to rob iraq oil

  • you got that soo 100% right!!!▐▐▐

  • @Czaendermajer lol but we still got bigger profit of it it wasent bush foult the economy is bad its becouse of the fucking mexicans/cubans that bought a house then coudlent pay for it so bush had to give out money to the banks if he didint the bank will close you will lose all your money yet aging i am both republican democratic

  • if america whas russia style communist then life would be easy there!, but is capilisticaly communist.. and worse than china because of the banks!. money is not good or bad, its what you do with it!!!!▐▐▐

  • The cars are so funny!

  • its kinda like a jeep on lots of steroids

  • These vehicles were developed in conjunction with South Africa.

  • The designs remind me of pictures I've seen of South African armored vehicles which were designed with mine survivability, something that could roll over a mine and survive and be repaired.

  • ya they are, too bad the U.S dident just go to South Africa and buy a shit load of them, years before they designed and built these. Could have saved soo many lives.

  • @asdfgeyhhgjfuhfdgrta those americans... dont find the necceseity for water unless they dehydrate!▐▐▐

  • @schizoidboy Yes, South Africans have pioneered this type of vehicle. Then in early 2000s, South African engineers have designed more of those for US. Then everyone else have picked up the trend.

  • @schizoidboy These vehicles actually are very repairable and survivable (although larger bombs and EFPs seem to be coming up. The only reason they look destroyable and bulky is due to the large outside containers that are stored on the vehicle. They appear to be a part of the vehicle but in reality are merely add ons that are very replaceable too. The entire vehicle is modular so that if one area of the vehicle is a complete loss, a new are of the vehicle can be ordered and it can be salvaged.

  • @schizoidboy the huskey and RG are made from south africa for just that purpose we use them to clear routes
