@SalamanserDP They didn't market it as a remake. They simply call it "Super Mario Advance," instead of adding Super Mario Bros. 2 in the title. Oh, and they did see this game in Japan as part of the Super Mario All-Stars on SNES. It was retitled Super Mario USA for that cartridge.

Wow. I never really thought about what game they packaged with Super Mario Advance in Japan, seeing as OUR SM2 was THEIR Doki Doki Panic. I bet some of them wonder why the hell all the other Super Mario Advance games are remakes and this game is just Doki Doki reskinned... lol

lol this game is a complete fail for the U.S. Because when they got this game for the first time on the gameboy advanced we already had this game as SUPER MARIO2. Nintendo of America is so cheap..........
