Wow, thank you everybody for your comments. I'm really flattered. You are SO kind, and I'm glad that you wanted to celebrate with me this great artist who passed away. Usually I don't play piano in such a "free style", it was a very strange evening. I felt sad, but also "faithful" and relaxed, filled with the certainity that his music will be remembered forever, and will always move people to a higher level of inspiration.

Well done. One can feel it comes out for your passion. Many fans would critize this as too free, but actually Clare Torry's vocal part was a jazz improvisation.. partly.. i liked the fact that you maintained her original melody for the second B minor "verse", while going freely on the Gminor "chorus".
I just published a piano tribute to Rick too, and after seeing your version I regret a bit to having being *too* much faithful in Gig.
Candles and hood are the detail which completes all.

Now THAT was a perfectly necessary tribute to a legend. Great improv on the piano. You made it your own for Rick. Good job dude. :)
