That in this life, we will NEVER have a full understanding of God, the universe, or anything. It was all created by God. To say it's all just a happy accident, to me, is far less scientific than a multi-faceted Creator, Father, who put it together. How do I know god does not exist? Well, if you try to read something else then the bible, you might have known too. Try Charles Darwins revolution theory as a start. You will be shocked to know that we evolved from moneys, not through god.

uhhh, that's not evolution... evolution says that modern humans and monkeys have a common progenitor. and nothing regarding evolution declares that god exists or doesn't exist. all you can take away from modern science is that the bible's view of a young earth is illogical.

You are being brainwashed. I should know.. I am a public high school English teacher. I teach the book Night by Elie Wiesel and the holocaust. Hitler believed in Charles Darwin's book, "The Origin of Species and THE PRESERVATION OF *FAVOURED RACES* IN THE STRUGGLE FOR LIFE (Full title that they don't tell you in school). Hitler included direct quotes from Darwin in his book, Mein Kampf. He wanted to create a superior race, and he devalued mankind. Evolution= no value, God = infinite value!

@rathy21 The word "English" should be capitalized as well as the word "God." Also be sure to spell "belive" the correct way which is believe. Anyway, that is an interesting theory you have there. First, the Bible states that there is "no one who is righteous, no, not one. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Everyone has things that they are not proud of. Do you really think that God does not see your secret sins...the ones that you keep hidden from people?

We ALL cannot measure up & we cannot be blameless before God for our many wrong actions. God is perfect. He loves us, but he MUST punish sin and wrongdoing. The Bible states that "the wages of sin is death [separation from God]... but God devised a plan for how we can know Him again and have a close relationship with Him.

@rathy21 God exists in three persons -The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Each of the three are fully God, but they exist in perfect unity in three parts. We serve ONE God in three personhoods that are united. Jesus is fully God, and became fully man. Jesus did speak with God the Father, but Jesus is still God also, as Jesus is ONE of the TRINITY (one of three). So yes, Jesus is God, and yes, Jesus is the Son, and yes, Jesus was never CREATED, for He is God. He has always existed.

The Bible has never been rewritten. Who informed you of this? The translations come differently because all common languages today have massive shortcomings compared to the hebraic and latin languages. English is severely lacking. So it takes different wording for all understanding. Or, on the other hand, we could just force people to learn Greek...

@prisscoble The bible has, in fact, been rewritten in some ways in different eras. Many kings had scribes change/remove/add certain sections to the bible in order to keep the people under the illusion that they were given divine power by God and to keep the people subservient. Which of these changes have survived over the years, I don't know. But the truth is, there is no one true "original" bible. It's been altered, changed for the times, and like you said, translated multiple times.

Proof that evolution is false? Hitler strongly believed in the theory, and his actions backed up his belief. He pushed "survival of the fittest" to the next level, by killing off all the crippled and what he called the "useless eaters" of society. He also attempted to completely wipe out all the "inferior" races.
