yep they where, you can thank gibson for that, because the gave ESP a lawsuit for useing the 'explorer' bodytype of there gibson's so the may not be sold anymore,
they stil can be custom made however, like this one i have, it costs a bit,
i like the olympic white one, (not nessasaraly the eet-F*k version though) the whit white one dousent really get my fancy if you wil i got this one for a dude who was selling it from england
hey man, I'm thinking of buying my first electric guitar and the ESP MX is on my list, i'm still thinking very carefully about what i'm gonna pick. Do you recommend this model? does it have any flaws? is it confortable to hold? tell me everything u can, if u have the time...
Very, very nice mate. Did you get this off ebay or custom ordered it? What are the specs, wood, pups ... Could you give it a go on a clean channel? which amp/effects are you using? And most important, if you custom ordered it, could you pm the dealer ^^ it's a bit weird to see tapping on an mx as james almost never does it, but it sounds great ... cheers ;)
haha thanks, in all hounesty i screwed some stuff up at the end, i lost my consentration so i set myself on auto iff you will, what the tapping is concerned, i couldent resist doing it on the MX. felt kind of strange liek you said, it's an MX and mainly a rythmguitar :P
i got this from a dude in england, he had one, he got it from ESP directly, i've heard MX's are cancled even as a custom shop, to bad i whould have liked a cream white one. like jimmies 220 back in the day
mmmmm. All in all, i don't think they are discontinued. they are just switching the names to mx250 to mx250-II to mx-II ... I read on the esp boards they're always available custom shop. The bad thing is, it's only to japan, and you gotta find a japanese dealer (who understands english !)who would custom order it for you and then ship it.Some users seem really inside the esp business and tell mx have never been discontinued. but i'm not sure if you can get other than the post-blk album shape ...
dude, i know how it works, i've order Costums before, its like i said, i picked up some thing that the MX220 / 250/ 250-II are even discontineud overseas, nothing official i believe just i a roumor i've heard of.
if you want one go hit ESP up with a quote and buy your self one,
that's the easyest way, the most expensive and long, but you get a new one anyway

EXP'ers are usualy bolt on

Well,
this guitar is great, and that's an understatement,
but it's not a guitar to start off with,
i whould not recomend this as a starter model, that's a slap in the face
get an LTD, Epiphone or a squier to start of with, those are good enough to start with, and 90% les of the price of a guitar like mine
