  • NICE !!!!!

  • good job but next time put tabs in or make it a lesson cause thats what everyone is looking for

  • Good job man, you look young, thats a hard line to play even for experienced bassists

  • The Bassist in The Edgar Winter Group uses a pick, also your toneis way off.

  • Who was the bass player?

In one video it looks like Greg Lake!

  • not bad. Pretty cool stuff, try and add a bit more feeling to your slides, though, it's make the whole thing sound a lot more fluent.

other than that, pretty cool stuff... just work on your stage performance, lol... can't be cracking your knuckles mid-song on stage, that was kinda awkward :P

  • NICE BASS

  • wow. im tryin 2 learn this song. got any tabs?

  • tabs?

  • weasley - not bad! ck my posts playing bass

ps - dan hartman bassist on this song is one of my favorite musicians.

  • is that a fender

  • good ear! you picked out some pretty tough licks.

  • i got the same bass

  • is that the squir version or is that the fender

  • for someone ur size u really look like you know ur way around that fretboard

  • nicely done :D very fluent, great job

do you happen to know what key its in?

  • I really like how you play it. Im learning it myself but im having some troulbe on memorization during the sax part. Nice angle too.

  • dude! you do a good job on this! I like the way you use all your fingers on your right hand to play the bass... especially like your knuckle popping percussion!

  • hey Wes, I already commented on your scarified video --go check out my Frankenstein video also... it is "SLIGHTLY" DIFFERENT than people are used to...(you'll know what I mean when you see it)...lol

this vid is really old, I'll bet you play it a lot better now-a-days--post a remake and show us :)

  • nice bass. looks like the one i play, but its really old and sort of like a sunburst. good song

  • thats not the right thing to play but it still sounded nice but the note were mostly wrong...if u search frankenstein bass the guys video right above urs is close to perfect and ask him to send u the tabs/sheet music....nice job tho

  • yeah this is from a loooong time back it blows, but i watched that guy's video and we're playing pretty much the same thing

  • i thought a bass was played with a pik like a guitar

  • It can be played with a pick, depends what you feel comfortable with.

  • the reason he's playing with no pick probably is because he's not playing something fast like ttfaf so he doesn't REALLY need one but whatever's comfortable for him.

  • awesome! love the end bit.

  • Excellent job! Love this song and you do it justice.

  • try to use both fingers for hitting the strings and dont use one finger on the frets do that and you will sound ten times better

  • nice bass, my teacher has the same one. and kwl song, im also working on the bass part, and this is a great example

  • bigggg respect this song is dope

  • wow, good job especially at the end....and you look young!!!! Keep it up

  • i have a bass like that one only in natural and without frets. while i was playing jamming on school by nirvana the nut holding the input broke so now its being held up by vice locks. im gonna go pull an owen wilson and /wrist.

  • You should really not ruin your amazing bass fingers by snapping your fingers. :P

That's an awesome cover of the song.

  • great job on the song and especially the ending

  • good job, very nice.

  • My favorite Edgar Winter song! Good job.

  • you should use all your fingers. moving your whole arm up and down the neck only using only two fingers looks kinda lame.

    myspace(dot)com/jchryslersupercar

  • that was pretty damn good.

  • Dan Hartman who wrote and played the original bass line on this was one of the most underrated rock musicians of all time!

  • TABS PLZ thats awesome man

  • Number should be slapped.

  • That's an Ariana bass ain't it? I just got one a little while ago but I'm still getting use to it. So far all I kinda know is Burly Heart form Guilty Gear X2.

  • nice

  • That was awesome, I just started learning this song, but the Guitar Pro tab I have isn't 100% accurate, do you have a tab for this song?

  • yeah, it's a toughie to figure out :)

i'm actually working on a transcription, will post the link once i get it up

  • Awesome. Thanks dude.

  • turn the treble and the volume up next time tho
